상담전공 대학원생의 석사학위 논문작성 과정에 관한 근거이론 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 상담전공 대학원생의 석사학위 논문작성 경험과 그 과정에 대하여 알아보고 관련 요인에 대하여 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 석사학위 논문작성을 완료한 상담전공 대학원생 12명을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하였고 근거이론 방법을 적용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 중심현상은 ‘연구 초심자로 불확실함에 휩싸임’의 범주로 나타났다. 또한, 상담전공 대학원생의 석사학위 논문작성 과정은 정체단계, 정비단계, 수행단계로 나타났으며, 핵심범주로는 ‘막연함을 뚫고 나의 한계를 넓혀감’의 범주가 도출되었다. 본 연구는 상담전공 대학원생의 석사학위 논문작성 경험과 관련 요인에 대하여 탐색함으로써 석사학위 논문작성 경험에 대한 심도 있는 이해를 도모하고 이를 적절히 조력하기 위한 학문적 기초자료를 제시한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to learn about the experience and process of writing a master’s thesis for a graduate students in the school of counseling and to explore the factors that affect it. In-depth interviews were conducted and the collected data was analyzed by applying the grounded theory method. In the experience of writing a master s thesis, the central phenomenon was derived as ‘engulfed in uncertainty as a beginner in research’. In addition, research participants wrote their master s thesis and repeated the steps of status-maintenance-performance . The core category was ‘to break through vagueness and widen my limits’. This study provides basic academic data to promote understanding of graduate students experiences in writing a thesis for master’s degree and to assist them properly.
