국문 초록

제4차 산업혁명으로 인해 AI, IoT, 드론 등 다양한 기술들이 발전함에 따라 우리에게 도래할 미래는 무궁무진한 변화의 가능성을 지니고 있다. 하지만, 과거가 있기에 현재와 미래가 있듯이 우리는 현재 가지고 있는 과거의 자산인 문화재들을 안전하게 보존하여 후손에게 온전하게 물려주어야 할 책임이 있다. 특히, 목조문화재는 오랜 시간 전에 만들어진 나무로 된 건축물이기 때문에 화재에 취약하다는 특성이 있으며, 산속에 있는 지리적인 특성으로 인해 소방활동이 굉장히 어려운 현실이다. 이에 따라 목조문화재 특성에 적합한 화재 안전관리 방안을 마련해야 하지만, 아직도 제대로 된 소방시설, 영상감시시스템, 감시및 대응 인력 등을 갖추지 못하고 있는 현실이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 목조문화재 화재 안전관리 수단으로서 위험한 지역이나 사람의 접근이 어려운 곳에 투입 되어 다양한 산업현장에서 활용되고 있는 드론을 도입하여 활용방안과 한계에 따른 향후 방향성에 대해 고찰해 보았다. 드론을 통한 효율적인 화재 감시와 빠른 초기대응 및 진압을 바탕으로 목조문화재의 훼손 피해를 최소화할 수 있지만, 아직 기술적ㆍ법적ㆍ제도적 한계점이 존재한다. 따라서, 향후 이러한 한계점 개선을 통해 드론이 목조문화재 화재 예방 안전관리 강화방안으로서 자리 잡기를 기대해본다.

영문 초록

With the development of various technologies such as AI, IoT, and drones due to the fourth industrial revolution, the future that will come to us has endless possibilities for change. However, just as we have the present and the future because of the past, we have a responsibility to safely preserve our past assets and ensure that future generations inherit them completely. In particular, wooden cultural assets are vulnerable to fire because they were made of wood a long time ago, and the geographical characteristics of the mountains make firefighting very difficult. As a result, fire safety management measures suitable for the characteristics of wooden cultural properties should be prepared, but fire prevention facilities, video surveillance systems, and surveillance and response personnel are not yet available. In this study, drones used in various industrial sites were introduced as fire safety management methods for wooden cultural assets in dangerous areas and places where it was difficult for people to access. Although the damage to wooden cultural properties can be minimized based on efficient fire monitoring and early response by drones, there are still technical, legal and institutional limitations. Therefore, it is hoped that these limitations will be improved in the future and that drones will be used as a means to strengthen safety management to prevent fires in wooden cultural assets.
