국문 초록

초등교육에서 무용 감상교육은 학습자들로 하여금 스스로 반성적 사고를 도모할 수 있는 교육내용이라 할 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 초등체육교육과정에서 무용 감상교육은 기존 예술 작품을 감상하거나 또래 집단끼리의 모둠활동을 평가하는 과정으로 인지되어 있다고 볼 수 있다. 감상은 개인을 넘어 집단, 조직, 문화를 이해하고 다름을 인정할 수 있는 교육내용이라 할 수 있다. 이에 무용교육에서 감상교육은 타교과목과의 연계와 더불어 생애 주기적 관점에서 삶을 관조하며 심미화로 거듭날 수 있는 교육내용이라 하겠다. 이러한 맥락으로 무용 감상교육은 초등시기에서부터 체화되고 인지되는 학습의 과정으로서 거시적으로 평생교육관점으로까지 확장될 수 있으며 다양한 교육프로그램으로 융합될 수 있는 가능성이 높다고 할 수 있겠다. 무용 감상 교육은 단순하게 예술작품을 감상하고 비평하는 것을 넘어 예술적, 미적, 문화적 특성과 의미를 깨우치는 것 까지 가능하게 한다. 또한 개인의 감상 능력은 사회적 학습과정으로 직결되면서 타인에 대한 이해와 다름을 인정하고 성찰하는 과정으로 나아갈 수 있도록 도움을 주는 역량이라 할 수 있다. 이처럼 무용 감상교육은 긍정적인 측면을 최대화 시키고 교육학적으로 이해하고 적용할 수 있도록 융·복합적인 교과내용으로 거듭날 수 있어야 한다. 나아가 초등교육 교사들의 예술적 역량강화에 대한 문제의식에 화두를 제공하고 활성화된 교육내용으로 거듭나기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Appreciation of dance in primary education can be said to be the content of education that allows learners to reflect on themselves. Nevertheless, the appreciation of dance in the primary physical education curriculum is recognized as a process of appreciating existing works of art or evaluating the group activities of peers. Appreciation is about understanding groups, organizations, and cultures beyond individuals and recognizing differences. As such, in dance education, dance appreciation education can be transformed into aestheticism by controlling life from a life cycle perspective, along with linking with other subjects. In this context, the appreciation of dance can be embodied and recognized from elementary school and extended to a lifelong education perspective, and it is possible to integrate into various programs. Dance appreciation education goes beyond simply appreciating and criticizing works of art, and even realizing artistic, aesthetic, and cultural characteristics and meanings. It also allows an individual s ability to appreciate and reflect on his or her understanding of others as he or she directly leads to the social learning process. Such a positive aspect of dance appreciation education should be reborn as a convergence of subjects that can be understood and applied educationally. Furthermore, it is believed to be able to provide a topic for primary school teachers awareness of their artistic capacity building.
