초등학교 체육과 ‘표현’ 영역에서의 공감교육을 위한 수업 실천

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 체육과 ‘표현’ 영역에서의 공감교육을 위하여 수업을 계획하고, 적용하여 긍정적인 면을 탐색하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 절차는 수업의 설계를 위하여 교사 연구 참여자와 심층면담을 실시하였고, 이를 바탕으로 수업 설계 원칙을 세워 수업을 구성하였다. 수업 적용은 가 초등학교 6학년 2학급 67명의 학생을 대상으로 하였고, 이 중 6명의 학생을 학생 연구 참여자로 선정하여, 심층면담을 실시하였다. 초등학교 체육과 ‘표현’ 영역에 참여한 학생들은 첫째, 자신과 타인의 생각과 감정에 대해 인식하였다. 둘째, 학생들은 공감을 위한 활발한 소통을 하였다. 공감을 위한 소통의 대상이 확장되었으며, 특히 문화･예술 세계와의 소통이 적극적으로 이루어졌다. 셋째, 학생들은 공감을 통하여 삶의 태도가 긍정적으로 변화하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 공감교육을 위한 표현 영역 수업의 긍정적인 면을 보여줌으로써 추후 학교 현장에서 적극적으로 확대하여 실시된다면 효과적일 것으로 생각된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to plan and practice classes for empathy education in the field of physical education expression in elementary school. The procedure of this study conducted in-depth interviews with the participants of the teacher research for the design of the class, and based on this, the principles of the class design were established to organize the class. The application of the classes was based on 67 students in the second class of the sixth grade of elementary school, and six of them were selected as participants in student research and in-depth interviews were conducted. The results of this study showed that first, students who participated in elementary dance classes to enhance empathy were aware of their thoughts and feelings. Second, active communication was made for empathy. The object of communication for empathy was expanded, and communication with the world of culture and art was particularly active. Third, the attitude of life has changed positively through empathy. The results of this study show the positive side of the expression area class for empathy education, and we hope that it will be actively expanded and conducted at school sites in the future.
