국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 학교4-H의 문제점을 도출하고 그 개선방안을 제시하는데 있었다. 일부 수정한 Burke-Litwin 모형을 토대로 학교4-H의 진단영역 및 진단항목을 설정하였으며, 자료 수집은 2005년 2월부터 2005년 6월까지 인터뷰, 설문조사, 한국4-H본부의 내부자료, 벤치마킹, 전문가협의회를 통해 이루어졌다. 연구대상은 학교4-H 지도교사와 학생, 교장, 농촌지도사, 일반 교사와 학생, 학부모, 한국 4-H 본부 임직원, 농촌진흥청 직원이었다. 이 연구에서는 ① 한국4-H본부의 미션 및 역할 정립, ② 한국4-H본부의 비전 및 전략 설정, ③ 자율적 민간단체로서의 경영자립성 확립, ④ 조직역량 강화, ⑤ 지도교사협의회 재구축 및 활성화, ⑥ 지도교사 관리시스템 확립, ⑦ 학생 관리시스템 확립, ⑧ 4-H 프로그램의 다양성 및 전문성 확보, ⑨ 4-H활동에 대한 홍보 및 마케팅 강화의 9가지 활성화 방안이 제안되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the problem and the improvement strategy of school 4-H clubs. Based on the Burke-Litwin model, diagnosis categories and items for school 4-H clubs were made. The data were collected through interviews, mailed questionnaires, Korea 4-H Association s internal information, benchmarking and expert workshop from February, 2005 to June, 2005. Research targets were school 4-H club teachers and students, principals, agricultural extension workers, teachers and students, parents, Korea 4-H Association staffs, and Rural Development Administration staffs. The major improvement strategies of this study were as follow: ① Establishing the mission and role of Korea 4-H Association, ② Establishing the vision and strategy of Korea 4-H Association, ③ Building up the management independence, ④ Strengthening the organizational competence, ⑤ Reconstruction and improvement of the School 4-H Club Teachers Council, ⑥ Establishment of a management system for school 4-H club teachers, ⑦ Establishment of a management system for school 4-H club students, ⑧ Establishing the diversity and the professionalism of school 4-H club program, ⑨ Strengthening the public relations and marketing of school 4-H club activities. Furthermore, action plans for each improvement strategy were suggested.
