국문 초록

본 연구는 미적 체험이 개인들이 공유하는 삶의 형식들을 변화시킬 뿐만 아니라, 세상을 변화 시킬 수 있는 가능성을 추구하도록 한다는 이론들을 근거로 미술교육에서 실천적 배움의 의미를 고찰하고, 실천적 배움의 과정을 구조화하여 제시한다. 미술교육에서 실천적 배움은 학습자가 미적 체험을 통해 인식한 것을 자발적으로 참여하여 실행에 옮기는 것을 의미하며, 학습자가 미술과 대면한 상황에서 능동적으로 대상이나 현상을 관찰하고 마음을 열어 인지하는 정신적 활동과 감각적 경험이 통합된 즉, 주목하고, 반응하고, 파악하고, 감정과 정서를 포착하고, 판단하는 활동에 의해 자신의 존재감을 깨닫고 세상의 변화에 참여함을 말한다. 이러한 실천적 배움의 과정은 첫째, 대상과 현상 또는 미술품을 낯설게 보고, 의문을 갖고 답을 찾으려는 의지로 집중하는 낯설음의 단계, 둘째, 학생들이 자신의 경험들을 연결하고 그것을 미술 활동으로 표현하고 인지하는 드러냄의 단계, 셋째, 미술 활동이 자신의 삶과 관련되어 있음을 알고 그 의미를 발견하며, 이를 소통하고 공유하면서 세상을 향해 널리 깨어 있는 태도를 갖고 사회 변화의 주체로 성장하는 되어감의 단계로 진행된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of practical learning in art education and to suggest the process of practical learning by structuring it based on the theories that aesthetic experience not only changes the forms of life shared by individuals but also pursues the possibility of changing the world. Practical learning in art education means that learners voluntarily participate in what they perceive through aesthetic experience and move it to practice. In addition, it means that the learners are aware of their presence and participate in changes in the world by the activities of observing objects or phenomena actively in the face-to-face situation with art and the integrated mental activities and sensory experiences that open their minds to recognize, that is, by the activities of paying attention, responding, grasping, capturing emotions and emotions, and judging. The process of practical learning is as follows: first, the stage of defamiliarization, defamiliarizing objects and phenomena or works of art, focusing with the will to find answers with questions; second, the stage of revealing students connecting their experiences and expressing and recognizing them as art activities; third, the stage of finding out the meaning of art activities related to their lives, communicating and sharing them, and growing up as the subject of social change with a wide awake attitude toward the world.
