국문 초록

직업재활과 고용을 활성화하기 위한 방법의 하나로 장애인의 직업평가 결과와 직업정보를 유기적으로 연결할 수 있는 시스템 구축과 활용을 들 수 있다. 최적의 장애인 고용이 가능할 수 있도록 직업평가 결과와 직업정보를 연결하는 직업매칭 시스템의 활용 가능성에 대한 탐색이 필요한 것이다. 미국 Vertek에서 개발한 OASYS는 직업매칭과 관련된 컴퓨터 체계와 프로그램으로서 한국의 직업재활 현장에서 직업평가 결과와 직업정보 DB 구축 및 매칭을 시도하는 데 시사점을 줄 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 OASYS의 체계와 구성을 살펴보고, OASYS를 통하여 직업평가 결과와 직업정보가 어떻게 매칭될 수 있는 지 제시하고 있다. 또한 이 연구에서는 미국에서 OASYS가 어떻게 활용되는가를 알아보기 위해 2004년 10월부터 11월에 걸쳐 3개 주, 4개 직업평가센터를 중심으로 직업평가사들과 직업매칭에 관하여 면접조사를 실시하였다. 미국의 경우, OASYS의 결과가 개별 장애인에 대한 종합적인 직업 평가에서 의미 있게 사용되는 것으로 조사되었다. 이 연구의 마지막 부분에서 우리나라 직업매칭 시스템 개발과 활용을 위해 OASYS가 어떤 시사점을 줄 수 있는 지 제시하였다.

영문 초록

For improving the rehabilitation system, vocational evaluators need to analyze the specific job by scientific method for people with disabilities. Hence, it is important to match the vocational evaluation results and job information exactly. Job Matching is the process which connects with the job information with job seeker s aptitude. interest and character. To match vocational evaluation results and job information correctly, vocational evaluators should understand client s aptitude, interest and character as a whole and gather the job information systematically. Through this process, job matching system such as OASYS is able to match vocational evaluation results and job information precisely. OASYS is a dynamic software program that matches a job seeker s skills and abilities to occupational requirements. It then reports occupations and occupational information about matching occupations and enables a user to check the accuracy of their guesses about a job seeker s employability. The software also reports occupational outlook (current employment and projections), wage and salary data and more. OASYS is an powerful tool for use by those who make intensive use of occupational information in the delivery of their services. To research on the actual condition of practical use of the job matching system, there were four interviews with vocational rehabilitation evaluators from October 2004 to November 2004 in the USA. In conclusion, the results of job matching system were used as important references in whole processes of vocational evaluation. Therefore, we need to increase the qualities of the job matching system and vocational rehabilitation system at the same time.
