국문 초록

본 연구는 자녀의 게임중독 극복을 위한 부모를 대상으로 자녀의 게임중독 극복을 위한 부모상담 경험을 사례중심으로 탐색하여 부모 상담을 이해하고 환경을 파악하여 현장에서 실천적 대안과 효과적인 정책을 모색하고자 한다. 분석방법은 심층면담을 통하여 수집된 자료를 Strauss와 Corbin(1998)의 근거이론을 적용하였으며, 자녀의 게임중독 극복을 위한 부모 상담을 경험하고 상담 종결된 시점이 1년 미만인 어머니 5명과 아버지 5명을 대상하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 최종적으로 107개의 개념들과 32개의 하위범주, 16개의 범주가 도출되었다. 축 코딩에서는 패러다임에 의한 범주 분석결과 인과적 조건으로는 ‘자녀의 문제 표면화’, ‘삶의 늪에 빠짐’, 중심현상은‘현실부정’, ‘양육태도 반성’, ‘상담의 필요성 인식’ 맥락적 조건으로는 ‘직면하기’, ‘바라보기’, ‘힘든 양육환경’이다. 작용/상호작용 전략은 ‘현실수용’, ‘성찰하기’, ‘전환을 위한 갈등’이었으며 그 결과 ‘상담을 통한 성숙된 모습’, ‘관계 변화’, ‘다시 찾은 행복’로 나타났다. 본 연구는 자녀의 게임중독 극복을 위한 부모 상담내용을 분석하고 체계화하여 사회 복지적 개입에 실천적 대안과 정책 모색에 중요한 자료로서의 의의를 지닌다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate parental counseling experience to overcome the game addiction of children and understanding the parent s counseling environment to find practical alternatives and effective policies in the field. The analytical method is based on the grounded theory of Strauss and Corbin collected through in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed for five mothers and five fathers who had experience of parental counseling for their child s game addiction treatment and whose consultation time was less than 1 year. Finally, the results of the study showed 107 concepts, 32 subcategories, and 16 categories. In axis coding, paradigm analysis shows that the causal conditions are ‘recognizing the problems of the child’ and ‘falling into the swamp of life’. The central phenomenon is ‘refusal of reality,’ ‘reflection of parenting attitude,’ and ‘recognition of need for counseling.’ Contextual conditions include ‘face to face,’ ‘look,’ and ‘difficult parenting environment.’ The interaction/interaction strategies were ‘acceptance of reality,’ ‘reflection,’ and ‘conflict for conversion.’ As a result, ‘maturity through counseling,’ ‘change of relationship,’ and ‘happiness found again’ appeared. The purpose of this study is to analyze and systematize the contents of parent counseling for overcoming their child s game addiction and provide significance as a basic data for policy and social welfare intervention.
