국문 초록

이 연구는 디지털 트윈국토 품질 표준에서 정의한 품질 항목에 기초하여 국내외에서 제작한 CityGML 데이터의 위상과 기하 품질을 평가하고 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 기하와 위상 측면에서 CityGML 데이터 모델의 구조에 대해 살펴보고, 품질 평가의 기준이 되는 디지털 트윈국토 품질 표준에 대해 분석하였다. 이어, 국내에서 제작된 세밀도 1과 2 수준의 건물 데이터에 대한 기하와 위상 오류를 검출하고, 오류 발생 원인과 문제점 그리고 GML 인코딩 수준에서의 수정 방법에 대해 분석하였다. 또한, 일본, 독일, 핀란드에서 제작한 세밀도1, 2 수준의 건물 데이터 세트를 수집하여 기하와 위상 오류를 파악하고 오류의 발생 경향을 분석하였다. 마지막으로 이 같은 CityGML 데이터의 기하와 위상 오류의 발생 원인을 작업자의 표준에 대한 이해 부족과 3차원 공간정보 제작 도구의 부재, 응용을 고려하지 않은 데이터 구축 등으로 구분하여 문제점을 도출하고 해결 방안을 제시하였다. 이 연구에서 분석한 품질 평가 방법과 개선방안 등은 국내에서 제작하는 다양한 디지털 트윈국토 데이터의 품질 확보와 관련 정책 개발에 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

This study aims to evaluate and analyze the geometric and topological quality of CityGML datasets produced both domestically and internationally, based on the quality items defined in the National Digital Twin Standards. To achieve this, the study examines the structural characteristics of the CityGML data model from geometric and topological perspectives, and analyzes the national standards that serve as the basis for quality assessment. It then detects geometric and topological errors in Level of Detail(LoD) 1 and 2 building datasets produced in Korea, and investigates the causes of these errors, their implications, and possible correction methods at the GML encoding level. In addition, LoD1 and LoD2 building datasets from Japan, Germany, and Finland are collected to identify geometric and topological errors and analyze the trends in their occurrence. Finally, the causes of these errors in CityGML datasets are categorized into three factors, including insufficient understanding of standards by data producers, the lack of specialized tools for 3D spatial data production, and the creation of data without consideration for downstream applications. Based on these findings, the study identifies key issues and proposes practical solutions. The quality assessment methods and improvement strategies presented in this research are expected to contribute to ensuring the quality of various digital twin datasets produced in Korea and to the development of related national policies.
