영유아 부모상담에 관한 국내 연구동향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 국내 영유아 부모를 대상으로 한 상담에 관한 연구 동향에 대해 알아보았다. 연구 방법은 2006년부터 2024년까지의 선행연구에서 영유아 부모의 상담과 관련한 키워드와 내용을 추출하여 분석하였다. 선정된 45편의 문헌에서 국내 부모상담과 관련한 기초사항을 비롯하여 연구별 주제 및 효과에 관한 내용을 분석하였다. 그 결과 연구의 기초사항에서 연구 시기는 2006년에서 2024년이었고, 문헌의 출처는 학술지와 학위 논문이었으며, 출처 기관은 교육학, 상담심리, 사회복지, 유아보육, 특수교육, 신학 분야였다. 연구 대상은 주 양육자로 일반 양육자와 특수한 상황의 양육자로 구분되고, 상담 장소는 상담이 실제로 진행된 곳으로 영유아 기관, 발달 관련 센터, 다문화 센터, 복지관 등에서 이루어졌다. 연구 방법은 질적연구, 양적연구 그리고 혼합연구로 이루어졌다. 마지막으로 연구내용으로는 자녀 관련 주제, 양육자 관련 주제, 특수한 상황 관련 주제, 기관 관련 주제의 상위 주제가 구성되었고, 이에 따른 각각의 하위 주제들을 분류하였으며, 상담의 과정과 개입 그리고 효과를 분석하였다. 끝으로 제언과 후속 연구에 관한 내용으로는, 상담을 통한 부모 발달과업의 성취 및 성장 과정에 대한 후속 연구의 필요성과 부모교육을 분리하여 연구를 진행한 제한점을 알렸다.

영문 초록

This study examined research trends in counseling for parents of infants and young children in South Korea. The research method involved analyzing prior studies conducted between 2006 and 2024 by extracting keywords and content related to counseling for parents of infants and young children. From 45 selected studies, the analysis focused on foundational aspects of parent counseling in South Korea, as well as the specific themes and reported outcomes of each study. As a result, in terms of the foundational characteristics of this study, the research period spanned from 2006 to 2024. The sources consisted of academic journals and graduate theses, and the affiliated fields included education, counseling psychology, social welfare, early childhood care, special education, and theology. The research subjects were primary caregivers, categorized into general caregivers and those in special caregiving circumstances. The counseling settings were the actual locations where counseling sessions took place, including early childhood institutions, developmental centers, multicultural centers, and welfare facilities. The research methods consisted of qualitative research, quantitative research, and mixed-methods research. The research content was structured around overarching themes related to children, caregivers, special circumstances, and institutions. Each of these overarching themes was further classified into subthemes, analyzing counseling processes, interventions, and outcomes. Finally, in terms of recommendations and content regarding follow-up study, this study highlighted the need for further research on the achievement and growth processes of parental developmental tasks through counseling, while acknowledging the limitation of having conducted the research independently of parent education.
