청소년 사이버불링 피해자의 가해행동에 미치는 영향요인 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 일반긴장이론, 위협된 자기애 이론 및 계획된 행동이론을 근거로 국내 사이버불링피해청소년들이 가해행동을 하게 되는데 영향을 미치는 요인을 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 가해행 동을 가해경험이 있는지 여부와 가해정도로 구분하여 각각 로짓분석과 다항회귀분석을 실시하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 피해남학생의 경우 보복심리가 클수록, 사이버불링이 그다지 문제가 되지 않는다는 인식이 강할수록 사이버불링 가해경험이 있을 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로, 피해여학생의 경우 보복심리가 클수록, 주변에 사이버불링 가해경험 친구가 있는 경우에 사이버불링 가해경험이 있을 가능성이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 사이버불링 피해학생이 가해 자가 되었을 때 그 가해정도는 사이버불링에 대해 그다지 문제가 아니라는 태도가 강할수록 심해지는 것으로 나타났으며, 이것은 피해남녀학생 모두에게서 공통적이었다. 한편, 사이버불링 피해남녀학생 모두 소속 학교에 사이버불링 관련 상담시스템이 갖춰져 있는 경우 사이버불링 가해경험이 있을 가능성이 낮아지는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 위협된 자기애 이론과 계획된 행동이론의가설을 지지하는 것이다. 또한, 사이버불링 피해청소년들이 가해자로 전환되지 않기 위해서는 피해학생들의 보복심리와 사이버불링에 대한 태도변화를 시정 및 치료하고, 주변 가해행동을 하는 또래집단의 부정적인 영향력을 차단할 수 있는 상담·교육 지원시스템이 필요하다는 점을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the factors for involvement in cyberbullying among adolescent victims in Korea, employing general strain theory, threatened egotism theory and theory of planned behavior. In doing this, logit analysis and multiple regression analysis were used by conceptualizing cyberbullying as whether to involve in the bullying behavior and the levels of bullying. The key findings were as follows. First, it was found that male adolescent victims are likely to be victims-bullies when they have revenge motives and moral disengagement in cyberbullying. Second, it was revealed that female adolescent victims are likely to be victims-bullies when they have revenge motives and friends acting as a perpetrator in other cases of cyberbullying. Furthermore, it turned out that moral disengagement in cyberbullying is positively associated with the levels of bullying among both male and female adolescent victims. Meanwhile, when male and female adolescent victims belong to the school that has consultation and education systems for preventing cyberbullying, they are not likely to be victims-bullies. Finally, these findings supported the hypotheses derived from threatened egotism theory and theory of planned behavior. Also, these results emphasized the need for the systems that should provide adolescent victims of cyberbullying with counselling services to attenuate their feelings of revenge and moral disengagement in cyberbullying, and that should block the negative behavioral effects from friends acting as a perpetrator in other cases of cyberbullying.
