북한이탈주민의 범죄취약성이 재산 범죄두려움에 미치는 영향: 문화 수용을 중심으로

국문 초록

이 연구는 우리 국민의 일환으로써 북한이탈주민의 범죄에 대한 두려움에 미치는 영향요인을 파 악하고자 하였다. 북한이탈주민은 생활기반의 어려움과 경제적 자립의 부족 등 경제 관념에 있어서 어려움을 겪고 있으며, 이를 악이용한 재산범죄가 끊임없이 발생하고 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 범 죄두려움 중에서도 북한이탈주민이 겪고 있는 재산범죄에 대한 두려움에 관하여 연구를 수행하고자 하였다. 특히 이 연구에서는 북한이탈주민이 범죄에 대한 취약성과 재산범죄에 있어서 두려움을 검 증하고자 하였으며, 또한 새로운 사회에서 가지게 되는 문화수용이 재산범죄두려움에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 확인하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 수행하고자 북한이탈주민을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 2017년 8월부터 10월까지 약 2달 가량 진행하였다. 분석결과 북한이탈주민의 범죄 취약성은 재산범죄 두려움에 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 그리고 이 연구에서 최종적으로 확인하고자 하는 북 한이탈주민이 한국 사회의 문화를 수용하는가에 따른 문화 수용이 재산범죄 두려움에 영향을 미치는 가를 확인한 결과, 한국사회에 대한 문화수용은 재산범죄 두려움에 있어서 통계적으로 유의미한 결과가 제시되지 않았다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 살펴보게 되면, 북한이탈주민의 재산범죄 두려움에 있어서는 범죄 취약성이 중요한 요인으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 북한이탈주민 의 재산범죄 두려움을 해소할 수 있는 치안정책 자료를 제언하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This study was intended to identify the factors affecting the fear of crimes of North Korean defectors as part of the Korean people. North Korean defectors are experiencing difficulties in economic concepts such as difficulties in living standards and lack of economic independence, and re-election crimes that take advantage of them are constantly occurring. Therefore, in this study, among the fear of crime, the purpose of this study was to conduct a study on the fear of property crime experienced by North Korean defectors. In particular, this study tried to verify the vulnerability of North Korean defectors to crime and their fear of property crime, and also to check how the acceptance of culture in a new society affects their fear of property crime. In order to carry out this research purpose, a self-report questionnaire was conducted on North Korean defectors, and it was conducted for about two months from August to October 2017. As a result of the analysis, it was investigated that the criminal vulnerability of North Korean defectors affects their fear of property crimes. And as a result of confirming whether cultural acceptance according to whether North Korean defectors accept South Korean society's culture, which we want to confirm in this study, has an effect on fear of property crime, cultural acceptance in Korean society is statistically significant in terms of fear of property crime. No significant results were presented. Based on these research results, criminal vulnerability was identified as an important factor in the fear of property crimes of North Korean defectors. Based on the results of this study, I tried to suggest security policy data that can alleviate the fear of property crimes of North Korean defectors.
