국문 초록

본 연구는 완주문화도시 조성을 위해 완주군민 생활사 기반의 콘텐츠 개발 전략을 살펴본다. 완주군민의 ‘삶’과 밀접한 관련이 있는 ‘생활사’를 아카이브하고 과거 이야기 자원과 연결하여 지역주민 모두가 향유할 수 있는 콘텐츠 개발 전략을 도출하고자 한다. 이를 위해 ‘완주군’ 관련 문헌 분석과 완주군민 생활사 아카이브 구축을 위한 이론적 기반을 검토하였다. 또 효율적인 아카이브의 운영을 위한 거버넌스 전략과 지역주민 생활사 기반 콘텐츠의 선진사례를 벤치마킹하여 시사점을 도출하였다. 연구결과 완주군민의 ‘생활사’를 효과적으로 수집하고 활용하기 위해서는 우선 생활사의 ‘테마’ 결정 기준을 마련해야 한다. 이를 위해 완주군의 역사, 생활사 등의 지역관련 정보를 수집, 분석하고, 근거이론 패러다임 모형을 적용하여 구술 수집 목적을 명확히 설정한다. 테마를 결정한 후에는 각 테마별로 지역주민 구술을 수집하여 완주군민 생활사 아카이브를 구축한다. 이 때 이야기자원순환시스템을 구성하기 위해 완주군민 생활사 아카이브 센터를 중심으로 기관, 주민협의체, 지역주민, ‘콘텐츠 창작자’, ‘기획자’, ‘예술가’가 협업하는 거버넌스 모델을 구성한다. 마지막으로 완주군민 생활사 기반 콘텐츠 개발과 지속가능성을 확보하기 위해 이야기 IP의 세가지 전략요소인 ‘창작 확장 가능성 확보’, ‘캐릭터 매력 확보’, ‘매력적인 콘셉트 설계’를 활용한다. 중요한 점은 과거 자원뿐만 아니라 현재 지역주민 삶의 모습을 함께 연결하는 콘텐츠를 개발하는 것이다.

영문 초록

This study examines a content development strategy based on the life history of Wanju County residents for the creation of a cultural city in Wanju. The aim is to archive the “life history” closely related to the “lives” of Wanju County residents, connect it with past narrative resources, and derive a content development strategy that all local residents can enjoy. To achieve this, we analyzed literature related to “Wanju County” and reviewed the theoretical foundations for establishing a life history archive of Wanju County residents. Additionally, we benchmarked advanced cases of content based on local residents' life histories to derive implications for the efficient operation of the archive and governance strategies. The research results indicate that in order to effectively collect and utilize the “life history” of Wanju County residents, it is necessary to first establish criteria for determining the “themes” of life history. To this end, regional information related to Wanju County, such as its history and life history, will be collected and analyzed, and a grounded theory paradigm model will be applied to clearly define the purpose of oral history collection. After determining the themes, oral histories from local residents will be collected for each theme to build a life history archive of Wanju County residents. At this stage, a governance model will be established centered on the Wanju County Life History Archive Center, with collaboration among institutions, resident councils, local residents, “content creators,” “planners,” and “artists” to establish a story resource circulation system. Finally, to develop content based on the lives of Wanju County residents and ensure sustainability, the three strategic elements of story IP—‘ensuring creative expansion potential,’ ‘securing character appeal,’ and ‘designing an attractive concept’—are utilized. The key point is to develop content that connects not only past resources but also the current lives of local residents.
