노인체험복 착용을 통한 간호대학생의 노인이미지에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구목적은 간호대학생을 대상으로 노인체험복 경험 전·후 노인에 대한 이미지를 분석하기 위함이다. 본 연구는 노인간호학을 수강하는 간호대학 2학년 학생 66명을 대상으로 노인수업 시작 전 노인체험복 착용을 통해 노인의 신체적인 간접경험을 수행하였고, 수행 전·후에 대한 이미지를 그룹별로 작성하고 토론하였다. 그 결과 노인체험복 경험 전 노인에 대한 이미지로 신체적 측면은 ‘주름’, ‘흰머리’, ‘틀니’, ‘지팡이’, ‘보청기’, ‘돋보기’, ‘치매’, ‘고혈압’, ‘당뇨’, ‘관절염’, ‘백내장’, ‘골다공증’이 있었다. 정서적 측면은 ‘외로움’, ‘고독’, ‘우울’, ‘지혜’, ‘연륜’, ‘노하우’, ‘조언’ 이 있었고, 사회적인 측면은 ‘요양원’, ‘실버타운’, ‘고독사’, ‘독거노인’, ‘퇴직’ 이 있었다. 노인체험복 착용 후에는 ‘몸이 무거움’, ‘앞이 보이지 않음’, ‘잘 들리지 않음’, ‘몸이 마음대로 움직여지지 않음’을 표현하였다. 이외에 ‘답답함’, ‘우울’, ‘무기력’이 있었으며, 자신의 행동변화로 그 동안 노인에 대해 이해하지 못한 것에 대한 ‘미안함’, ‘공감’, ‘배려’ 등을 표현하였다. 노인체험복 착용 후 느낀 점에 대한 내용분석 수행결과 ‘노인행동의 이해’, ‘노인에 대한 행동변화’, ‘자신의 미래를 그려봄’, ‘노인을 위한 사회적 변화 주제’ 가 도출되었다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 추후, 간호대학생을 위한 노인에 대한 이해를 증진할 수 있는 교육프로그램의 개발이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the images of the elderly before and after experiencing the elderly experience clothes targeting nursing students. In this study, 66 second-year nursing students taking geriatric nursing were subjected to indirect physical experiences of the elderly by wearing the elderly experience clothes before starting classes for the elderly. As a result, the image of the elderly before the experience of the elderly experience clothes was 'wrinkle', 'white hair', 'denture', 'cane', 'hearing aid', 'magnifying glass', 'dementia', 'hypertension', 'diabetes' , 'arthritis', 'cataract', and 'osteoporosis'. Emotional aspects were 'loneliness', 'solitude', 'depression', 'wisdom', 'age years', 'know-how', and 'advice', and social aspects were 'nursing home', 'silver town', 'solitude', There were 'old people living alone' and 'retirement'. After wearing the experience clothes for the elderly, ‘heaviness of the body’, ‘blindness’, ‘difficulty of hearing’, and ‘body cannot move freely’ were expressed. In addition, there were ‘depressed’, ‘depressed’, and ‘lethargy’, and they expressed ‘sorry’, ‘empathy’, and ‘consideration’ for not understanding the elderly due to their behavioral changes. As a result of performing the content analysis on the feelings felt after wearing the experience clothes for the elderly, ‘understanding the behavior of the elderly’, ‘behavioral change for the elderly’, ‘thinking of my old age’, and ‘themes of social change for the elderly’ were derived.
