국문 초록

This study aims to analyze the research trends and key topics of artificial intelligence (AI)-related papers published in the field of social sciences in South Korea. A total of 1,828 papers published between 2012 and 2024 were analyzed using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA)-based topic modeling, Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), Quadratic Assignment Procedure (QAP) and Semantic Network Analysis (SNA) techniques to derive 14 key topics for each period. The analysis revealed that early research (2012-2015) primarily focused on the ethical issues of AI and its educational applications, while research interest expanded to industrial applications and legal issues of AI technology in the subsequent period (2016-2018). From 2019 to 2021, major research topics included data protection, platform economy, and social impact, while from 2022 to 2024, discussions centered on the ethical responsibilities and technological convergence of generative AI. QAP and SNA analyses confirmed significant correlations between research topics over time, clearly showing a shift in research focus from ethical discussions to technological applications and social responsibility. This study provides a systematic overview of the development of AI research in the domestic social sciences field, which could serve as an important reference for future academic research and policy formulation.
