본 연구는 국내에서 수행된 용서 관련 연구의 전반적인 흐름을 분석하고, 다양한 대상자(아동, 노인, 알코올중독자 등)를 포함한 용서 프로그램의 효과를 종합적으로 검토하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 총181편의 관련 논문을 수집하여 동향 분석을 실시하고, 이 중 사전·사후 실험설계를 갖춘 9편을 대상으로메타분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 용서 연구는 매년 꾸준히 이루어지고 있으나 최근 감소 추세를 보였으며, 연구는 주로 상담심리 영역에 집중되어 있었다(50.2%). 용서 프로그램의 전체 평균 효과크기는 0.53 으로 중간 수준이었고, 총 회기 수와 프로그램 기간이 효과에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 국내 용서 연구의 특성을 체계적으로 조망하고, 다양한 집단에 대한 프로그램의 효과를 통합적으로 제시함으로써 상담 및 심리치료 현장에서의 용서 개입 개발에 기초자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the overall flow of forgiveness-related research conducted in Korea and to comprehensively examine the effects of forgiveness programs including various subjects (children, the elderly, alcoholics, etc.). To this end, a total of 181 related papers were collected and trend analysis was conducted, of which a meta-analysis was performed on 9 papers with pre- and post-experimental design. As a result of the analysis, forgiveness research has been conducted steadily every year, but it has recently shown a decreasing trend, and the research has been mainly focused on the area of counseling psychology (50.2%). The overall average effect size of the forgiveness program was 0.53, which was intermediate, and the total number of sessions and program period were found to have a significant effect on the effect. This study is significant in that it provides basic data for the development of forgiveness intervention in the field of counseling and psychotherapy by systematically looking at the characteristics of domestic forgiveness research and presenting the effects of programs for various groups in an integrated manner.
