첩약 복용 의향의 결정요인에 관한 연구 -근골격계통 한방치료 경험자를 중심으로-

국문 초록

본 연구는 근골격계통 한방치료 경험자의 향후 첩약 복용 의향의 결정요인을 체계적으로 분석하기 위해 실시하였다. 2020년 한방의료실태조사에서 근골격계통 질환 치료를 목적으로 한방의료를 이용한 경험이 있다고 응답한 2,490명을 분석대상으로 활용하였으며, 복합표본분석법을 사용하여 빈도분석, 교차분석, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 민간의료보험 가입 여부, 한방의료기관 시설환경, 치료 결과가 근골격계 한방치료 경험자의 향후 첩약 복용 의향에 유의한 영향 요인으로 나타났다. 따라서 한방의료기관에서는 첩약의 치료 효과를 높이기 위한 노력 및 의료시설·환경 등의 개선을 통한 고객 만족도 향상을 시도해야 하며, 보건복지부에서는 환자의 진료비 부담 경감을 위해 첩약 건강보험 적용 시범사업의 본인부담 완화 등의 정책적 노력이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study conducted to systematically analyze determinants of intention to take herbal medicine among individuals who took Korean medicine treatment on musculoskeletal diseases. This study used 2,490 persons who reported having received in Korean medicine for their musculoskeletal diseases in the 2020 Korean Medicine Utilization and Herbal Medicine Consumption Survey. Using complex sample analysis method, this study conducted frequency analysis, Rao-scott chi-square test, and logistic regression analysis. It was found that, among individuals who took Korean medicine treatment on musculoskeletal diseases, several factors affect their intention to take herbal medicine: enrollment in private health insurance; facilities and environment of Korean medicine clinics; treatment results. Accordingly, Korean medicine clinics should make efforts to improve treatment effects of herbal medicine, and to raise customer satisfaction by improvement of facilities and environment of clinics. Ministry of Health and Welfare should consider implementing policies to reduce medical fees of Korean medicine patients such as reduction of deductibles on the pilot project to apply medical insurance to herbal medicine.
