국문 초록

본 연구는 칼 라너(Karl Rahner)의 후기 신학 방법론을 분석하고, 그의 신학적 전환이현대 신학적 논의에 미치는 영향을 평가하는 것을 목표로 한다. 라너는 후기 신학에서‘신비로의 환원(reductio in mysterium)’ 개념을 강조하며, 신학적 개념화의 한계를 극복하고자 했다. 이를 통해 그는 신학적 사고가 개념적 명료성을 추구하면서도 신비를 향한 개방성을 유지해야 한다고 주장하였다. 본 연구는 라너의 후기 신학에서 나타나는 초월적 방법론의 특징을 분석하고, 이를 칸트, 마레샬, 하이데거 등의 철학적 배경과 연관 지어 고찰한다. 또한 후기 라너의 방법론이 가지는 한계를 평가하고, 현대 신학에서 신학적 개념화와 신비 사이의 관계를 어떻게정립할 수 있을지를 논의한다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 라너의 신학적 방법론이 현대 신학적소통의 가능성을 확장하는 데 기여할 수 있음을 밝힌다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze Karl Rahner’s late theological methodology and assess its impact on contemporary theological discourse. In his later theology, Rahner emphasized the concept of reductio in mysterium, seeking to overcome the limitations of theological conceptualization. He argued that theological thought should strive for conceptual clarity while maintaining openness to mystery. This study examines the characteristics of Rahner’s late transcendental methodology and explores its relationship with the philosophical influences of Immanuel Kant, Joseph Maréchal, and Martin Heidegger. Furthermore, it critically evaluates the limitations of Rahner’s late theological approach and discusses how contemporary theology can establish a relationship between theological conceptualization and mystery. By doing so, this study highlights the contribution of Rahner’s theological methodology in broadening the possibilities of theological communication in the modern era.
