하이데거 기초존재론에서 현존재의 초월 개념

국문 초록

하이데거는 자신의 기초존재론에서 현존재의 본질을 내재적인 의식에 갇혀 있는 ‘사유하는 자아’가 아니라 ‘세계-내-존재’로 규정한다. 이처럼 현존재가 내재적인 의식으로부터 벗어나 세계 속에 존재할 수 있는 이유는 현존재가 본질적으로 ‘초월’에 의해 규정되기 때문이다. 그런데 하이데거에 앞서 이미 후설도 지향성에 의거하여 ‘사유하는 자아’가 내재적인 의식으로부터 벗어나 세계와 관계하고 있음을 현상학적으로 증명하였다. 그렇기 때문에 그동안 하이데거의 세계-내-존재로서의 현존재의 초월 개념은 후설의 지향성 개념과의 연관성 속에서만 고찰되었다. 그러나 우리가 주목해야 할 사실은 하이데거의 초월개념은 후설의 지향성 개념과 근본적으로 구분된다는 점이다. 기초존재론에서 하이데거가 정초하고자 하는 현존재의 초월 개념은 사유에 선행하는 전주제적인 차원에서 세계와 관계 맺는 실천적 영역에서의 초월이며, 이는 다음의 두 가지의 고유한 특징을 지니고 있다. 첫째, 주위세계에서 우선적으로 주어지는 사물(도구)과의 관계를 가능케 하는 현존재의 초월은 이론적 사유가 아니라 실천적인 행위에 바탕을 두고 있다. 둘째, 현존재의 실천적인 행위에서 이루어지는 현존재의 초월은 존재자를 향해 있는 비본래적 초월과 존재를 향해 있는 본래적 초월로 구분된다. 그런데 하이데거가 궁극적으로 확립하고자 하는 현존재의 초월은 불가능성의 가능성에 기초한 본래적 자기에서 드러나는 본래적 초월이다.

영문 초록

In his fundamental ontology Heidegger determines the essence of Dasein not as the thinking I, but Being-in-the-world. And Dasein can exist in the world by breaking away from immanent consciousness because Dasein is determined as transcendence. But before Heidegger Husserl based on intentionality already demonstrated that ‘thinking ego’ is also related to the world by escaping from the immanent consciousness. Thus Heidegger’s concept of transcendence of Dasein as Being-in-the-world has been investigated basically in respect to Husserl’s concept of intentionality. It is, however, worth noting that Heidegger’s concept of transcendence is fundamentally distinguished from Husserl’s concept of intentionality. The concept of transcendence of Dasein, which Heidegger seeks to establish in fundamental ontology, is the concept of transcendence engaged in the practical realm. Also this concept of transcendence that precedes thinking is related to the world in pre-thematic dimension. In this transcendence we discover twofold characteristics. Firstly, the transcendence as the condition of possibility for the relation between Dasein and thing(equipment) encountered proximally in the environment is founded not in the theoretical thinking but the practical activity. Secondly, the transcendence of Dasein that is comprised in the practical activity is divided into the inauthentic transcendence directing towards a being and the authentic transcendence directing towards Being. But it should be noted here that what Heidegger ultimately seeks to establish in the transcendence of Dasein is the authentic transcendence that is revealed in the authentic self founded on the possibility of impossibility.
