미백 효능 화장품의 임상적 특성

국문 초록

본 연구는 미백 효능 원료의 임상적 발현 특성을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 30~50대 성인 20명으로, 연구시료를 14일 동안 하루 2회 각 연구부위에 사용하였으며, 연구시료는 나이아신아마이드, 알부틴, 트라넥사민산의 미백 효능 원료 복합물을 활용하였다. 그 결과, 안면 기미 부위의 멜라닌 수치는사전 대비 사후에 7.97%의 유의한 개선율을 보였지만(p<.05), 과색소침착 농도는 유의한 변화를 보이지 않았다. 겨드랑이 부위의 색소침착 평균은 사전 대비 사후에 5.56%, 겨드랑이 부위의 과색소침착 농도는25.32%로 모두 유의하게 개선되었다(p<.05). 이는 겨드랑이에서는 1차 흑화와 2차 흑화가 모두 억제된 반면, 안면에서는 2차 흑화는 억제되었지만, 1차 흑화는 억제되지 않았다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 임상적 특성을 고려하여 멜라닌 생성 억제 뿐 아니라, 멜라닌 환원 및 멜라닌 전이 각질세포의 탈각 촉진이 보완된미백 화장품의 연구개발이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze the clinical manifestation characteristics of whitening efficacy ingredients. A total of 20 adult subjects in their 30s to 50s participated in the study. They applied the test product, which contained a combination of niacinamide, arbutin, and tranexamic acid as active whitening ingredients, twice daily to designated areas for 14 days. The results showed a significant improvement of 7.97% (p<.05) in melanin index in the facial melasma area compared to baseline. However, the hyperpigmentation concentration did not show a significant change. In the armpit area, the average pigmentation levels improved by 5.56%, and the hyperpigmentation concentration decreased by 25.32%, both showing statistically significant improvements (p<.05). These findings suggest that both primary and secondary pigmentation were inhibited in the armpit area. In contrast, only secondary pigmentation was inhibited in the facial area, with no effect on primary pigmentation. In consideration of these clinical characteristics, it is necessary to research and develop not only melanin synthesis inhibition, but also melanin reduction and the promotion of exfoliation of melanin-transferring keratinocytes in the future
