국문 초록

청나라 중기는 중국 역사상 도자기 발전의 절정기이며 청나라 중후반 청화백자의 발전은 청나라의 문화 연구에 중요한 연구 자료를 제공하고 있다. 또한 조선시대 18세기 이후 청화백자는 전통문화의하나로 이어지고 있다. 18세기 이후 양국의 청화백자에 나타나는 문양 가운데 봉황문(鳳凰纹)의 장식을 비교하여 양국의 사회 문화적 함의와 봉황문 장식의 형식적 특징 변화에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 청나라와 조선 중후기 청화백자에 나타난 봉황문양은 화본의 확대로 도자문양에 발전에 영향을 미쳤으며 청대의 영향을 받은 조선 청화백자 봉황문양은 조선 만의 특징적인 조형으로 나타났다. 또한 시대의흥망에 따른 문양의 단순화 등 봉황 문양의 변화를 살펴볼 수 있었다. 이를 통해 봉황무늬 장식은 정치·사회·생산에서 번영과 쇠퇴의 과정을 겪은 도자기 문양으로서 전통문화의 인문주의 정신을 담고있다고 본다. 이에 현대 전통문화 정신을 담아갈 유산으로서 문화적 의미의 보존과 연구를 통해 그 한·중 문화의 공유 영역을 넓혀 가길 기원한다.

영문 초록

The mid-Qing Dynasty represents the pinnacle of ceramic development in Chinese history, and the evolution of blue-and-white porcelain in the mid-to-late Qing period provides significant research material for studying Qing culture. Additionally, since the 18th century, blue-and-white porcelain in the Joseon Dynasty has continued as a part of traditional culture. By comparing the phoenix pattern (鳳凰纹) decorations found in the blue-and-white porcelain of both countries after the 18th century, this study aims to explore the socio-cultural implications and changes in the formal characteristics of phoenix pattern decorations in both nations. The phoenix patterns in the mid-to-late Qing and Joseon blue-and-white porcelain influenced the development of ceramic patterns through the expansion of pattern books (hwabon), and the Joseon blue-and-white porcelain phoenix patterns, influenced by the Qing, exhibited distinctive Joseon characteristics in their forms. Furthermore, changes in the phoenix patterns, such as simplification in response to the rise and fall of eras, can be observed. Through this, it is understood that phoenix pattern decorations, as ceramic patterns that experienced processes of prosperity and decline in political, social, and production contexts, embody the humanistic spirit of traditional culture. As a legacy that carries the spirit of modern traditional culture, it is hoped that the preservation and study of its cultural significance will expand the shared realm of Korean and Chinese culture.
