국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학생 1∼3학년의 학교적응 변화궤적을 탐색하고 집행기능곤란의 학교적응에 대한 동시효과 및 지연효과를 분석하며 초등학생의 성별, 어머니의 일-양육 갈등이 학교적응에 미치는 영향력을 규명하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널 종단자료를 바탕으로 잠재성장모형(Latent Growth Model)을 적용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 1∼3학년 아동의 학교적응은 시간의 변화에 따라 선형적으로 증가하였다. 둘째, 학교적응에 대해 집행기능곤란은 8차(초1), 9차(초2), 10차(초3) 모든 시점에서 동시효과가 확인되었다. 8차(초1)시점의 집행기능곤란은 9차(초2)시점의 학교적응에 지연효과가 확인되었다. 셋째, 여학생이 남학생보다 학교적응 수준이 높게 나타났고 성별은 학교적응 초기값에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 어머니의 일-양육 갈등은 학교적응의 변화에 직접적인 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 본 연구결과는 초등학교 저학년의 학교적응을 돕기 위해 집행기능곤란의 중요성을 확인하고 학년별, 성별에 따른 차별화된 개입전략이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the change trajectory of first to third grade elementary school students' school adjustment and the simultaneous and delayed effects of executive function difficulties and to verify the influence of elementary school students' gender and mother's work-parenting strains on school adjustment. For this purpose, a Latent Growth Model analysis was conducted using data from the 8th year to the 10th year of the Panel Study on Korean Children conducted by the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education. As a result, first, the school adjustment of lower elementary students showed a linear increase. Second, the simultaneous effect of executive function difficulties on school adjustment was confirmed at the 8th∼10th time. In addition, the delayed effects of executive function difficulties on school adjustment were confirmed from the 8th to the 9th time. Third, as a result of analyzing the change trajectory of school adjustment by gender, female students showed a higher level of school adjustment than male students. The results of this study confirm the importance of executive function difficulties in helping elementary school students adapt to school and suggest the need for differentiated intervention strategies based on grade level and gender.
