국문 초록

본 연구는 노인의 인구사회학적 특성과 주거환경요인에 따라 삶의 만족도는 어떤지를 살펴 본 것이다. 초고령사회로 가는 시점에 노인의 삶의 질에 관한 보다 현실적인 현안 점검의 하나인 것이다. 연구결과, 인구사회학적 특성에 따라 살펴본 결과, 남성과 여성은 모두 차이가 있었고, 연령이 낮을수록 삶의 만족도는 높았다. 배우자 유무에서도 배우자가 있는 경우 만족도가 더 높았고, 교육수준의 경우 최종 학력이 높을수록 만족도가 높다. 가구 형태에서도 노인 부부 가구의 만족도가 노인 독신 또는 기타 노인 가구보다 유의하게 높았다. 주거환경요인을 추가하여 노인의 주거환경 요인이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에서도 삶의 만족도에 유의한 영향을 주었다. 자가일 경우와 녹지 공간 충분성과 거리, 자녀 및 친지와의 거리, 이웃과의 교류 기회, 지역사회 환경은 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 주었다. 즉, 노인의 생활환경을 고려한 녹지 공간 충분성, 사회적 친밀을 위한 이웃과의 교류 기회 등의 제고가 필요함을 알 수 있고 이를 위한 정부와 지역사회의 노력이 경주되어야 하겠다.

영문 초록

This study examined the life satisfaction of the elderly according to the demographic characteristics and residential environment factors. It is one of the more realistic current issues on the quality of life of the elderly at the time of moving to a super-aged society. As a result of the study, as a result of examining according to demographic and sociological characteristics, there was a difference between both men and women, and the younger the age, the higher the life satisfaction. Satisfaction was higher when there was a spouse in the presence or absence of a spouse, and in the case of education level, the higher the final education level, the higher the satisfaction. In terms of household type, the satisfaction of elderly couple households was significantly higher than that of elderly single or other elderly households. By adding residential environment factors, life satisfaction was also significantly affected in the effect of the elderly's residential environment factors on life satisfaction. In the case of self-sufficiency and distance between green space, distance between children and relatives, opportunities for exchange with neighbors, and community environment had a positive (+) effect on satisfaction. In other words, it can be seen that it is necessary to improve green space sufficiency in consideration of the living environment of the elderly and opportunities for exchanges with neighbors for social intimacy, and efforts by the government and local communities should be made.
