국문 초록

본 연구는 Angélica Dass의 Humanae 프로젝트를 활용하여 초등교육현장의 다문화 미술 교육의 실천적 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 21세기 글로벌사회는 인종과 문화의 다양성이 확산됨에 따라, 다문화 교육의 중요성이 점점 더 강조되고 있다. 특히 초등학교 시기는 학생들이 다양한 문화를 접하고, 이에 대한 이해와 존중을 배울 수 있는 중요한 시기이다. 이에 본 연구는 다문화적 이해와 포용성을 키우기 위해 미술 교육의 필요성을 제기하며, Dass의 Humanae 프로젝트가 미술 교육에서 어떤 교육적 활용 가능성을 가지고 있는지 분석하고 그 실천적 방안을 제안한다. 본 연구의 결과는 초등학교 교사들이 다문화 교육을 미술 수업에 효과적으로 적용하는 데 유용한 자료를 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 교육 현장에서의 실천적 방안을 제시함으로써 학생들이 급변하는 글로벌 사회에서 자아에 대한 긍정적 정체성 확립과 타인에 대한 이해와 존중을 기를 수 있는 기초를 마련하기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to explore practical methods for implementing multicultural art education in elementary school settings using Angélica Dass's *Humanae* project. In the 21st-century global society, the diversity of races and cultures is increasingly prevalent, which highlights the growing importance of multicultural education. The elementary school years, in particular, are a critical period for students to engage with and learn to understand and respect different cultures. Therefore, this study emphasizes the need for art education to foster multicultural understanding and inclusivity, and it analyzes the educational potential of Dass's *Humanae* project in this context, offering practical methods for its implementation. The findings of this study aim to provide valuable resources for elementary school teachers to effectively incorporate multicultural education into their art lessons. Additionally, by presenting practical strategies for classroom application, it is hoped that this research will lay the foundation for students to develop a positive self-identity and cultivate understanding and respect for others, preparing them for life in a rapidly changing global society.
