국문 초록

<독도는 우리땅>은 40여 년이 넘는 세월 동안 가요와 동요의 경계를 오가며 끊임없이 리메이크 되고, 독도교육 콘텐츠로도 다방면에서 활용되고 있다. <독도는 우리땅>은 다른 대중가요와 다르게 독특한 ‘개사’의 특징을 보인다. 본고에서는 <독도는 우리땅> 노래의 바뀐 가사를 분석해 시대 변화에 따른 사회 변화상이나 기후 변화에 따른 주변 환경 변화상을 반영하고 있음을 확인했다. 또 독도 영유권과 영토 문제 등과 관련된 가사에서도 변화를 확인했다. 이를 통해 이 노래의 역할이 단순한 문화콘텐츠가 아닌 정확한 ‘정보전달’에 있으며, 그 때문에 시대 변화에 발맞추어 개사가 필요했음을 짐작할 수 있다. 더불어 바뀐 가사를 주요 언론이 나서 적극적으로 홍보한다는 점은 수많은 가요 중 <독도는 우리땅> 만의 특징이라 할 수 있다. 가요 혹은 동요라는 문화콘텐츠의 형태를 취하고 있으나, 한국인이 꼭 알아야 할 정보가 지속적으로 업데이트 되고 또 홍보되고 있다는 점에서 이 노래는 문화권력이 작동하는 좋은 예라고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

For more than 40 years, the song “Dokdo is Our Land” has been constantly remade as a song and nursery rhyme, and has been used in various ways as a Dokdo education content. Unlike other popular songs, “Dokdo is Our Land” has a unique editing the lyrics of the song. In this article, we analyzed the lyrics of the song “Dokdo is our land” and found that it reflects changes in society due to the changing times and changes in the surrounding environment due to climate change. I also saw changes in lyrics related to Dokdo territory and territorial issues. This suggests that the song's role is not just cultural content, but accurate “information transmission” and that it needed to be adapted to the changing times.In addition, the fact that the major media actively promoted the changed lyrics is a characteristic of “Dokdo is our land” among many songs. It takes the form of cultural content in the form of songs or nursery rhymes. But, This song is a great example of cultural power at work, as it is constantly updated and promoted with information that Koreans need to know.
