고대 동아시아 해상 루트의 유형적 기반

국문 초록

이 논문의 목적은 동양의 문화 교류가 북방 육로 못지않게 고대로부터 남방의 해상 루트를 통해서도 활발히 일어났음을 논증하는 데 있다. 이 연구는 한국의 고대국가 중 하나인 가야의 허왕후 설화가 모티프가 되었다. 연구대상의 지역적 범주는 동아시아와 동남아시아, 인도 일대이다. 연구방법으로 고대 동아시아의 해양문화자산과 해양력에 관한 기초자료를 제시하였다. 기초자료는 크게 다섯 가지로 ①선사시대 유적과 유물 ②해류 ③계절풍 ④삼국사기 등 고대 역사서의 기상 관측기록 ⑤나침반과 천문향해기술이다. 결론적으로 이 논문은 유형적인 자료를 통대로 고대 인도-가야 간 해상 교류는 신화가 아닌 실제였음 논증하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to review that cultural exchanges between the East and the East have occurred as actively through southern maritime routes since ancient times as through northern land routes. This study became the motif of the tale of Queen Heo of Gaya, one of Korea's ancient states. The regional scope of the study is East Asia, Southeast Asia, and India. As a research method, basic data on the maritime cultural data and maritime power of ancient East Asia were presented. There are five main types of basic data: ① Prehistoric sites and relics ② Ocean currents ③ Monsoon ④ Meteorological observation records from ancient historical books such as the Samguk Sagi, and ⑤ Compasses and astronomical navigation techniques. In conclusion, this paper review, based on visible data, that maritime exchanges between ancient India and Gaya were real, not just a tale.
