영문 초록

The relationship between feminism and sexuality has been all the time complex and scorching, and sexual arguments have become the keenest, theoretical and practical arena, as acute debates around various issues such as pornography, S/M, politically correct sex, heterosexuality and homosexuality, lesbianism and so forth are produced. Social and economical disadvantage in women has been connected to sexual exploitation easily assaulting women and women's unstable subjectivity to sexually fragile position as an object of fantasy and a signifier of exchange in malecentric sexual discourse. I will hereby explore the process of sexual debates over 20 years among feminists in the western and study how all of it is condensed and repeated in sex wars especially surrounding pornography. I will finally examine how women's sexual subjectivity appears through a couple of pornographic texts made by women directors, which make self-representation of women's body and sexuality possible through her own voices and eyes with breaking long silence and invisibility. Meanwhile Romance rains questions about woman's sexual experiences and senses and its political and psychological meaning, Erotique configures and proposes the significant issues including the relationship between sexuality and fantasy, lesbianism and sexual pleasure with thoroughly feminist view. Both feminist texts tell us how the language of feminine desire can be created and what kind of women's sexual subjectivity it makes possible. The question of 'What is women's sexual subjectivity?' is, that is, closely related to the issue of 'How can women's sexual pleasure and desire of sexual expression be rehabilitated and expressed?'.
