국문 초록

본 연구는 <헤어질 결심>(2022)을 라캉(Lacan)의 성차라는 렌즈를 통해 바라보고, 해준과 서래의 어긋남과 그 차이, 역설을 고찰하고자 했다. 해준은 결과에서 원인으로 거슬러 올라가 원인에 해당하는 범죄자를 밝히고, 검거한다. 반대로서래는 살인을 저지르거나 유발하는 원인을 발생시키지만, 늘 결과에 도달하는인과관계에 귀속되지는 않는다. 이 둘은 서로 엮이고 묶일 수 있으나 진정 만날수 없는 관계다. 이들 남녀 간의 사랑에는 조화로운 관계, 성적관계가 없다. 남자는 ‘전체의 논리’를 따르지만, 여자는 ‘전체가 아닌 비전체의 논리’를 따르기 때문이다. 그래서 서래와 해준은 서로 어긋난다. 해준이 서래를 망원경으로 훔쳐볼때 주체와 대상a의 관계인 환상을 통해서 그녀를 본다. 즉 결핍된 주체가 상실한것이 대상a이기에 상실의 대상을 되찾은 것 같은 복낙원의 환상 속에서 해준은서래 옆에 존재한다. 반면 서래가 해준을 멀리서 바라볼 때는 환상이라는 렌즈롤통해 보지 않는다. 그리고 해준과 서래가 대화를 할 때 핸드폰 통역기를 활용한다. 통역기는 매개체지만 한편으로 두 사람 사이의 소통의 간극을 나타내는 어긋남의 균열지점이다. 이들의 사랑은 만나는 지점이 아니라 단지 어긋나는 지점만을 반복적으로 가진다. 서래는 해준의 사랑한다는 말을 들었다고 생각하지만, 그가 말한 사실에 대한 욕망의 인정을 얻지 못한다. 인정을 얻기 위해 서래는 사라짐과 죽음을 통해 그의 인정을 대체하는 해준의 마음-심장을 가져가버린다. 이처럼 영화는 사랑과 엮인 남녀 간의 어긋남과 히스테리증자와 강박증자 간의 딜레마를 보여준다. 그것은 진실로 만날 수 없기에 헤어지려고 하는, 남녀 간 성차의간극을 메울 수 없는 어긋남인 것이다.

영문 초록

This study is to view (2022) through the lens of Lacan’s sexual difference, and to review the discrepancy, difference and irony of Hae-jn and Seo-rae. Hae-jun finds and arrests a criminal by retrospecting to the cause from the result. On the contrary, Seo-rae commits and causes murder, but doesn’t belong to the cause-and-effect relationship that always reaches the result. These two characters are bound and involved with each other, but they can’t be genuinely together. The love between these two has no harmonious relationship, or sexual relationship. That’s because men follow ‘the logic of all’, but women pursue ‘the logic of not all’. Therefore, Seo-rae and Hae-jun are always estranged. When Hae-jun peeks Seo-rae with binoculars, he sees her through the fantasy of the relation between subject and object. In other words, the subject of lack is the object of loss, so Hae-jun exists near Seo-rae in the fantasy of paradise regained as if he regained the object of loss. On the contrary when Seo-rae sees Hae-jun far away, she doesn’t see him through the lens of fantasy. When Hae-jun and Seo-rae make conversations, they use cell phone interpreter. The interpreter is the medium, but at the same time, it is a cracked point of discrepancy that shows the gap of communication between the two. In their love, estranged points only exist instead of the point where they meet. Seo-rae thinks she heard Hae-jun say’I love you’, but she can’t gain the acknowledgment of desire for the fact he said. To gain the acknowledgment, Seo-rae takes Hae-jun’s heart that substitutes his acknowledgment through disappearance and death. Thus, the movie shows the discrepancy between man and woman involved with love, and the dilemma between a person with hysteria and a person with obsessive compulsive disorder. This is the sexual discrepancy whose gap can’t be filled between men and women that leave because they can’t get together.
