학교 급별에 따른 장애아동 가족의 기능과 가족의 지원 요구에 관한 연구

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 학교 급별에 따른 장애아동 가족의 기능과 필요한 지원 요구 사항을 알아본 것이다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 55명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 가족정체성 영역의 기능이 상대적으로 높고 그 다음은 정보공유, 대처/자원 유동성의 순으로 나타났다. 가장 높은 점수를 받은 항목은 ‘감사’였고, 가장 낮은 점수를 받은 항목은 ‘대처전략’이었다. 학교 급별 비교에서는 중학생과 고등학생을 둔 가족의 기능이 초등학생을 둔 가족보다 더 높았다. 둘째, 장애아동 가족은 정보 지원, 정서적 지원, 양육보조에 대한 지원을 더 많이 요구하였다. 학교 급별로는 유치원의 경우 양육보조 지원, 초등학교급의 경우 정보제공 지원, 중학교급의 경우 정서적 지원, 고등학교급의 경우 문제해결 지원에 대한 요구가 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 결론: 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 학교 급별에 따른 장애아동 가족의 기능 강화와 제공해야할 가족 지원의 필요성에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the functions of the families of children with disabilities according to school grades and the necessary support requirements. Method: 55 subjects were participated. Results: As the results of the study, first, the functions of the family-identity category were relatively high, and then information-sharing and coping / resource mobilization were followed. The ‘appreciation' category was the highest, and the 'coping strategy' was the lowest. In comparison by school levels, the functions of families with middle and high school students were higher than those with elementary school students. Second, the families with children with disabilities demanded more information support, emotional support, and support for parenting. By school levels, there were relatively high demands for childcare support in kindergarten, information provision support in elementary school level, emotional support in middle school level, and problem-solving support in high school level. Conclusion: Based on the results, the necessity of family support to be provided and the strengthening of functions of families with children with disabilities according to school level were discussed.
