영문 초록

There are many shortened words and phrases in modern Korean language. The shortened forms is made from the abbreviation and the contraction. This aspects save much time and space when speaking and writing. The abbreviation and the contraction of vowels and consonants make the number of syllable decrease. The most part of this aspects is not standard forms in these days, but will become standard forms in future. The shortened forms are on the increase because of communication in internet. The over-shortening in the language must be avoided for good understanding.
