영문 초록

This study aims to establish the criteria focused on coherence for selecting expression entries and set up the ‘-Gi’ combined expression entries. Expression entry consists of more than two lexical and grammatical units which are combined tightly each other in the aspects of morphology, syntax, grammatical function and meaning. The number and scope of expression entries need to be checked up and reduced so that Korean language learners effectively use and apply the entries to various situation by themselves. There are three criteria, such as insertion, replacement and semantic function for coherence in order to set up expression entries. Finally, 8 entries are selected based on three criteria among 27 ‘Gi-’ combined expression entries in Korean language textbooks, grammar dictionaries and academic papers.
