수학 문제해결 과정에서 학습자의 인지부하 사례 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 수학 문제를 해결하는 학습자의 인지부하 사례를 생리심리학적 측정 방식과 주관적 측정 방식을 혼합하여 관찰하고, 인지부하를 높이는 원인을 실증적으로 탐색하였다. 구체적으로 수학 문제해결 과정에서 내용 영역과 요소에 따라 학습자의 실제적 인지부하의 양상이 어떠한지를 확인하고자 하였다. 이에 수학 문제를 해결하는 학습자의 인지부하 분석 결과를 제시하고 각 내용 영역과 문제 설계에서 인지부하를 유발한 요인을 도출하였다. 이후 분석한 내용과 그 특징을 정리함으로써 수학 문제해결 교수·학습 설계 및 개선 방향에 대한 시사점에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study observed the case of cognitive load of learners solving mathematics problems by mixing physiopsychological and subjective measurement methods, and empirically explored the cause of increasing cognitive load. Specifically, it was intended to confirm the actual pattern of cognitive load of learners according to the content area and element. Accordingly, the results of the cognitive load analysis of learners who solve mathematics problem were presented and the factors that caused cognitive load in each content area and problem design were derived. Afterwards, by summarizing the analysis and its characteristics, we discussed the implications for mathematics problem solving teaching and learning design and improvement directions.
