영문 초록

Our country's relation to Australia is the most late among Asian countries, and its relation became regular from 1970's. But Korea is object nation of the important economical cooperation next to Japan among Asian countries to Australia. Relation of both countries has developed on the basis of economical relation which can be said as economical one-side, among them including trade relation. Various kinds of characteristic factors permanently exist at these Australian market from the side of trade with our country. First of all, it is structural and chronic trade depict in balance of payments which has been progressed continuously for the past 20 years, and second, Australia performs the role of supplier of major raw materials for our country, third, they will enforce GST taxation system reform in 2000, so the good opportunity of trade expansion will come and etc.
