국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 중·고등학교 기술·가정 교과서에서 유네스코 성교육 가이드라인의 영역별 핵심내용과 수준을 어느 정도로 담고 있는지 분석하여 가정과교육에서의 포괄적 성교육의 방향을 제시하는데 목적을 두었다. 방법 이를 위하여 2015 교육과정이 적용된 중·고등학교 기술·가정 교과서 총 24권을 선정하여, 유네스코의 성교육 가이드라인을 중심으로 포괄적 성교육 내용과 수준을 분석하였다. 결과 분석 결과, 중·고등학교 기술·가정 교과서의 포괄적 성교육 내용은 유네스코의 성교육 가이드라인에서 다루고 있는 내용과 대체적으로 유사하나 그 순서는 상이한 것으로 나타났다. 중·고등학교 기술·가정 교과서에서는 일부를 제외하고, 유네스코의 내용을 연령 수준에 맞게 다루고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 연구 결과를 바탕으로 가정과교육에서 포괄적 성교육을 강화할 수 있도록 성에 대한 긍정적인 관점, 예방적 측면, 인권적인 측면과 다양성 존중에 관한 내용 반영과 교과 내용요소 구성의 체계성에 관한 논의점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of comprehensive sexuality education in home economics education by analyzing to what extent it contains the core content and level of each area of the UNESCO Comprehensive Sexuality Education(CSE) program. Methods The subject of analysis is a total of 24 middle and high school technology·home economics textbooks to which the 2015 revised curriculum was applied. The results of analyzing the content and level of comprehensive sexuality education in middle and high school technology·home economics textbooks focusing on UNESCO s sexuality education guidelines are as follows. Results First, the contents of comprehensive sexuality education in middle and high school technology·home economics textbooks are generally similar to those covered by UNESCO s sexuality education guidelines, but the order is different. Second, it was found that the contents of UNESCO were handled according to the age level, with the exception of some of the middle and high school technology·home economics textbooks. Conclusions In order to strengthen inclusive sexuality education in home economics education, a discussion point regarding the reflection of positive views on sexuality, prevention aspects, human rights aspects and respect for diversity, and the systematic composition of content elements in the curriculum were presented.
