자살예방 실무자의 외상후 성장 유형과 관련 요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 자살예방 실무자의 외상후 성장 유형을 분석하고, 그 유형에 따른 관련요인들을 비교분석하는데 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 자살예방센터, 병원, 정신건강복지센터 등의 정신건강 실천현장에서 자살예방 업무를 수행하고 있는 사회복지사, 간호사, 정신과의사, 심리사 319명을 포함하였으며, 자료는 자기보고식 온라인 설문을 통해 수집되었다. 자살예방 실무자의 외상후 성장유형을 분류하기 위해 잠재프로파일 분석을 실시하였으며, 각 유형에 따른 자살예방 실무자의 외상후 성장과 관련이 있는 요인을 분석하기 위해 다항로지스틱회귀분석을 실시하였다. 잠재프로파일 분석결과, 자살예방 실무자의 외상후 성장은 성장수준에 따라 전(前)성장형, 성장 도입형, 성장 도약형, 성장 성숙형의 네 가지 외상후 성장유형으로 분류되었다. 성장 성숙형을 준거집단으로 하여, 전(前)성장형 집단의 외상후 성장에 영향을 미치는 요인은 직업군, 의도적 반추, 사회적지지로 나타났다. 또한, 성장 도입형 집단의 경우, 연령, 직업군, 의도적 반추와 사회적지지가 영향요인으로 나타난 반면, 성장 도약형 집단의 경우, 연령, 외상후 스트레스, 사회적지지가 외상후 성장에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 자살예방 실무자의 클라이언트 자살관련 외상의 극복과 외상후 성장의 촉진 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the present study was to examine post-traumatic growth types of suicide prevention practitioners and to compare the factors associated with post-traumatic growth by the type. Study sample consisted of 319 suicide prevention practitioners, including social workers, nurses, psychiatrists, and psychologists who work at mental health practice settings, such as suicide prevention centers, hospitals, and mental health centers. Data were obtained from a selfreported online survey. Latent profile analysis was conducted to classify post-traumatic growth types and multinominal logistic regression model was employed to examine the factors associated with post-traumatic growth of suicide prevention practitioners by the type. By analyzing the level of post-traumatic growth, four types of post-traumatic growth were categorized as follows; pre-growth type, introduction-growth type, leap-growth type, and maturity-growth type. With the maturity-growth type as a reference group, the factors associated with post-traumatic growth of the pre-growth type were occupation, deliberate rumination, and social support. In regard to the introduction-growth type, the factors were age, occupation, deliberate rumination, and social support, while age, post-traumatic stress, and social support were found as the factors related to post-traumatic growth of the leap-growth type. Based upon those results, the study discussed ways to overcome trauma related suicide as well as promote post-traumatic growth of suicide prevention practitioners.
