국문 초록

이 글에서는 인공지능 시대의 책읽기 교육의 의미에 대해 논의하면서 인공지능 시대의 대학 교양교육에서 책읽기 교육의 의미를 생각하고 그 교육적 방향을 모색해보는 데에 목적이 있다. 인간성 계발, 창의융합과 논리적 이해 능력 향상을 위해 힘을 모으고 있는 대학의 교양교육 분야, 특히 고전과 명저를 읽고 토론하고 에세이를 쓰는교과목 등에서 책읽기 교육의 방향을 모색하고 전망해보는 일은 코로나19 사태로 온라인 교육 플랫폼을 구축하고, 혼합 학습을 준비하고 있는 이 시점에서 각별한 의미가 있다. 4차 산업혁명과 인공지능의 시대, 포스트코로나 시대로 나아가는 이 시기에 학생들은 비대면 원격화상 수업 방식의 책읽기 교육에서도 고전작품과 명저에 대한 완독(完讀)과 학생들 공동의 협력 활동을 통하여 서로 교류하며 소통하는 시간을 가질 수있다. 비록 대면 상황의 강의실은 아니지만 학생들은 비대면 원격화상 수업에 참여하여 관련 분야 전문가들의 특강을 듣고, 궁금한 사항에 대해 직접 질문을 하는 상호 소통 방식의 활성화된 기회를 가짐으로써 학업 성취를 높이는 계기를 마련할 수 있다. 포스트코로나 시대에는 성품이 실력이 되고, 비즈니스의 성패를 좌우하는 핵심적인 요소로 작용할 것으로 전망되고 있다. 바로 이런 시기에 대학의 교양교육 과목들을 비롯하여 책읽기 교과목에서 이루어지는 고전과 명저 읽기의 학습과 토론 과정이대면과 비대면의 혼합 학습 현장에서 더 강화될 수 있도록 책읽기 교육의 환경을 획기적으로 개선하는 데 관심을 기울여야 한다. 인공지능의 시대, 포스트코로나 시대를향하여 대학의 책읽기 교육의 실제적 효과를 높여나갈 수 있는 창의적이고 실천적인방안이 지속적으로 논의되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article is to discuss the meaning of college reading education in the age of artificial intelligence, and to think about the meaning of reading education in college liberal arts education in the age of artificial intelligence and to explore its educational direction. In the field of liberal arts education at colleges, which are gathering strength for human development, creative convergence and logical comprehension, especially in subjects where reading classics and famous books, discussing, and writing essays, it is necessary to search for and predict the direction of reading education online due to the COVID-19 outbreak. It has a special meaning at this point in building an education platform and preparing for blended learning. In this era of the 4th industrial revolution, the era of artificial intelligence, and the post-corona era, students learn to read books in the non-face-to-face remote video class method as well as complete reading of classic works and famous books and through collaborative activities among students. Although it is not a face-to-face classroom, students participate in non-face-to-face remote video classes, listen to special lectures by experts in related fields, and have an active opportunity of interactive communication by asking questions directly, providing an opportunity to enhance academic achievement can do. In the post-corona era, character becomes a skill and is expected to act as a key factor in determining the success or failure of a business. At this time, I am interested in dramatically improving the environment of reading education so that the learning and discussion process of reading classics and masterpieces in the general education subjects of colleges as well as reading subjects can be further strengthened in the field of mixed face-to-face and non-face-to-face learning. It is expected that creative and practical measures to increase the practical effect of university reading education toward the age of artificial intelligence and the post-corona era will be continuously discussed.
