영문 초록

Chungbunsi in Volume 1 of 『Namgojip』 is an additional compilation of the poems related to Sangsibunse and created from 1636 when the Manchu war broke out to 1653 after the collapse of Ming. It includes the feelings of affliction at the era and sorrowful indignation about unrighteous authority. It also includes the poems in which the writer deplores his deprived life and dark situation. Even though during the national crisis of the Manchu war Namgo wasn t taken prisoner like Crown Prince Sohyeon and Bongrim Infante or sent under escort like Cheongeum Kim Sang-heon who was directly sent from Andong to Simyang because of his appeal against Qing s request to send military, his Chungbunsi express his sorrow for the times and sorrowful indignation about Qing enough. In particular, the fact that he didn t use the era name of Qing but used Sungjeong era name of Ming trying to live as a wandering person of Sungjeong can be seen as the behavioral expression of the loyalty to Ming. Namgo Park Eung-hyung was a grandson of Park Jeong-beon who raised an army in the cause of justice during the Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592 and fought against Japanese invaders. grandfather Park Jeong-hyeong s very noble and pure spirit of fidelity was transmitted to the grandson just as it was, and Namgo had special loyalty even to such an extent as to create a poem about Nojungryeon at the age of 7 by inheriting his grandfather s integrity. Namgo loved to read 『Sohak』 from childhood. 『Sohak』 includes much of practical side of fidelity based on Chunchudaeeui. Namgo also made his loyal life more firm through social intercourse with those with thorough fidelity, such as Ogye Jo Jeong-lib and Wanjeong Lee Eon-yeong. Through the succession of grandfather s integrity, practice of Chunchudaeeui with 『 Sohak』, and friendship with those of strong loyalty, Namgo led his life grounded on unswerving fidelity.
