국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구는 중도 지체ㆍ뇌병변장애인의 평생교육 참여의사에 영향을 미치는 변인을 탐색함으로써 장애인 평생교육 발전을 위한 기초 자료를 제시하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구방법: 2017년 장애인실태조사 원자료 중 중도 지체ㆍ뇌병변장애인을 대상으로 한 자료를 활용하였고, 중도 지체ㆍ뇌병변장애인의 평생교육 참여의사를 종속변수로 중도 지체ㆍ뇌병변장애인의 평생교육 참여의사에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 21개 변인을 독립변수로 각각 설정하여 로지스틱회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 중도 지체ㆍ뇌병변장애인의 혼자서 외출 가능 유무, 우리나라의 장애인 차별 정도에 대한 인식, 여가활동 참여 경험, 복지기관 이용 경험이 중도 지체ㆍ뇌병변장애인의 평생교육 참여의사에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변인으로 탐색되었다. 결론: 따라서 중도 지체ㆍ뇌병변장애인의 평생교육 활성화를 위해서는 보조인력, 보조기기 지원 등과 같이 평생교육 참여에 필요한 인프라 구축은 물론, 이들의 평생교육 참여의사를 저해하는 요인을 고려하여 중도 지체ㆍ뇌병변장애인의 평생교육 활성화 정책을 추진할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study was conducted to provide basic data for vitalizing lifelong education for the disabled by exploring variables affecting the intention to participate in lifelong education for people with severe physical disabilities and cerebral palsy. Method: This study used the data regarding people with severe physical disabilities and cerebral palsy from 2017 Disability Survey. A logistic regression analysis was performed by setting 21 variables that could affect each as independent variables. Results: Exploring whether people with severe physical disabilities and cerebral palsy is able to go out on their own, a perception of the degree of discrimination against people with disabilities, an experience in participating in leisure activities, and experiences in using welfare institutions had significant effects on the intention to participate in lifelong education for people with severe physical disabilities and cerebral palsy. Conclusion: To revitalize lifelong education for people with severe physical disabilities and cerebral palsy, it is necessary to build infrastructure necessary for participation in lifelong education, such as supporting personnel and assistive devices, as well as considering factors that inhibit their willingness to participate in lifelong education. It is necessary to promote the policy of lifelong education.
