중도장애 학생을 위한 긍정적 행동지원 관련 국내 실험연구 동향 및 질적지표에 의한 분석

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 중도장애 학생을 대상으로 긍정적 행동지원을 실행한 국내 실험연구의 전반적 동향을 살펴보고 연구의 질적 수준을 평가하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 총 21편의 국내 학술지 논문을 선정하여 연구 참여자, 실험설계, 독립변인, 종속변인의 분석을 통해 연구의 전반적인 특성을 분석하였고, CEC 질적지표를 적용하여 연구들의 질적 수준을 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 연구 참여자의 장애 영역은 자폐범주성장애와 지적장애였고, 연령은 유아를 대상으로 한 연구 1편을 제외한 나머지 연구에서 초등, 중등, 고등학생이 고르게 분포하였다. 둘째, 실험설계는 행동간 중다기초선 설계가 가장 많이 사용되었으며, 대부분의 연구가 중재 종료 후 유지와 사회적 타당도를 측정하였다. 반면 일반화를 측정한 연구는 4편에 불과하였다. 셋째, 연구의 중재요소를 살펴본 결과, 선행 및 배경사건 중재는 선호활동이나 사진 제시, 대체행동교수는 의사소통표현기술 교수, 후속결과중재는 즉각적 칭찬과 대체행동 촉진이 가장 많았다. 넷째, 종속변인은 많은 연구에서 수업참여행동, 수업방해행동, 공격행동을 목표행동으로 설정하였다. CEC 질적지표 분석 결과 11편의 논문이 질적지표 총점의 80% 이상(총점 46점 중 36.8점)을 충족시켰다. 결론: 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 중도장애 학생의 긍정적 행동지원을 실행한 국내 연구를 논의하였고, 후속 연구의 방향을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the trends of experimental research on positive behavior support for students with severe disabilities. Method: A total of 21 Korean studies were selected and analyzed in terms of participants, experimental designs, independent variables, and dependent variables; the quality levels of the studies were analyzed based on CEC quality indicators. Results: First, most of the participants had autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disabilities, and they attended elementary, middle and high school. Second, the multiple baseline design across behaviors was most frequently used in the studies, and most of the studies measured maintenance and social validity. Only four studies measured generalization of the target behaviors. Third, preferred activities or photos were used in the setting events and antecedent interventions. Communication instructions were employed in the alternative behavior interventions. Praise as reinforcement was utilized in the consequences interventions. Fourth, dependent variables were often class engagement behaviors, off-task behaviors, and aggressive behaviors as the target behaviors. eleven studies met more than 80 percent of CEC quality indicators(36.8 of total score 46). Conclusion: Based on analysis and synthesis of the findings, directions for future research and implications for practice were suggested.
