초･중등학교 학생4-H 활동 프로그램의 운영 실태 및 개발 방향

국문 초록

이 연구는 초･중등학교 학생4-H 활동 프로그램의 운영 실태와 요구를 분석하여 개발 방향을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위한 조사 대상은 유층화 군락표집 방법을 적용하여 초등학생 100명, 중학생 200명, 고등학생 200명, 지도교사 및 지도공무원 각각 120명을 무선으로 선정하여 전체 740명으로 하였다. 대상별 조사를 위하여 질문지를 개발한 후 온라인 Google 설문을 이용하여 조사(응답률 80.5%)하고, 기술통계, t 검증, 일원변량분석 등의 방법으로 분석하였다. 초･중등학교 학생4-H 활동 프로그램의 운영과 관련하여 초･중등학교 학생들의 활동 기한은 1년 미만이 가장 많았고, 초등학교 학생들은 선생님의 권유로, 중등학교 학생들은 봉사활동을 위하여 가장 많이 가입하였다. 학생4-H 활동 프로그램에 대한 초･중등학교 학생들의 선호도가 높고 다양한 활동 등으로 만족도도 높게 나타났다. 학생4-H 활동 프로그램에 대한 요구는 거의 모든 분야에서 높았고, 4차 산업혁명 시대에 지식 및 정보 기술 활용 교육의 필요성, 교육 내용에 대한 요구 및 적용 가능성, 온라인 기반 프로그램에 대한 요구도도 높았으며, 이에 대해 초･중등학교 학생, 지도교사, 지도공무원 간에는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 지도교사는 월 2~3회 정도 운영하면서 농업체험활동을 가장 많이 실시하고 있었고, 연령대가 높을수록 4-H 업무를 자발적으로 담당하고 있었으며, 활동에 대한 보상 부족, 프로그램 정보 부족, 과중한 학교 수업과 프로그램 메뉴얼 또는 지침서 부족 등으로 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 따라서 초･중등학교 학생4-H 활동 프로그램은 수준별 4-H 활동 커리큘럼, 4-H 회원단체 조직 간 연계와 교류 프로그램, 진로 교육 프로그램, 4차 산업혁명을 선도할 창의･융합형 인재 양성 프로그램, 4-H 강사 요원 교육 강화 프로그램 등이 가능하도록 방향을 설정할 필요가 있다. 또한, 앞으로는 중앙 단위와 지역(도 수준, 시･군 수준) 단위의 조직 운영 체계 강화, 교육 대상자용과 지도자용 교재 및 메뉴얼 개발, 관련 정보 공유를 위한 플랫폼(platform) 개발 등이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the development direction by analyzing the operating conditions and needs of the 4-H activity program for elementary and secondary school students. The subjects of this study were selected randomly 100 elementary, 200 middle, 200 high school students, and 120 teachers and public officials to make a total of 740 using the stratified cluster sampling method. After developing a questionnaire for each subject s survey, the survey was conducted using an online Google questionnaire (response rate of 80.5%), and analyzed by methods such as descriptive statistics, t-validation, and one-way variance analysis. Regarding the operation of the 4-H activity program for elementary and secondary school students, the period of activity of elementary and secondary school students was most often less than one year. Elementary school students joined 4-H by the teacher, and secondary school students did the most for volunteer activities. Elementary and secondary school students preference for the Student 4-H activity program was high, and satisfaction was high with various activities. The demand for the student 4-H activity program was high in almost all fields, and the need for education using knowledge and information technology in Industery 4.0, the demand and applicability of the educational content, and the demand for online-based programs were also high. And there were significant differences among subjects. The teachers were running 2-3 times a month, carrying out agricultural experience activities the most. The older they were, the more they were voluntarily in charge of 4-H work, and they were struggling with the lack of compensation for activities, the lack of program information, and heavy school classes. and a lack of program manuals or instructions. Therefore, the 4-H activity program for elementary and secondary school students should develop and operate a 4-H activity curriculum by level, a linkage and exchange program among 4-H member organizations, career education programs, a creative/convergence-type talent training program leads the 4th industrial revolution, and a 4-H instructor training enhancement program. In addition, in the future, it will be necessary to strengthen the organizational operation system at the central and regional(province level, city/county level) level, develop textbooks and manuals for education targets and leaders, and develop a platform for sharing related information.
