신체적 자기개념의 부차척도 구성 및 성격유형별 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 7차 교육과정에서 제시한 8학년 체육 교과과정의 정규 수업을 충실히 이수하였을 때 신체적 자기개념(physical self-concept)이 개선되어 총체적 자기개념을 향상시킬 수 있는 체육교육 프로그램을 학생의 성격 유형별로 개발하기 위한 방향을 제시하기 위하여 수행된 사전 연구의 성격을 지닌다. 본 논문에서는 신체적 자기개념을 열 개의 부차개념으로 나누어 측정하고 있는 김병준(2001)의 설문지를 이용하여 중학생을 대상으로 설문 조사한 다음, 요인 분석을 통하여 열 개의 부차개념을 다섯 개의 부차개념으로 축약하고, 신체적 자기개념의 측정에 기여도가 큰 두 개의 부차개념에 대한 리커트 척도(Likert scale)를 제시하였다. 다음으로 성격 유형별 두 부차척도의 차이 및 7차 교육과정에 따른 체육교육의 효과를 분석하여 신체적 자기개념을 향상시킬 수 있는 성격 유형별 교육 프로그램의 예를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, Kim(2001) s Korean version of the PSDQ (Physical Self-Description Questionnaire; Marsh et al., 1994) designed to measure the ten physical self-concept (subscales) was reduced to the five subscales such as the capability of sports and self- confidence, fitness, health and elasticity of body. Data were obtained from a sample of 229 middle school students. Two subscales were constructed from the first two factors in the results of factor analysis. From the results of the principal component analysis, the Likert sales are valid for the two subcales. And some examples of physical education program, which upgrade the physical self-perception, were proposed from the results of analyses of two subscales and the effect of physical education according to the 7th education process by the personality types.
