국문 초록

본 연구는 동화오페라 독일의 작곡가이자 교육가인 훔퍼딩크(E. Humperdinck)가 동화오페라 형식으로 작곡한 “헨젤과 그레텔”작품을 <즐거운 생활> 교과의 주제 중심 수업에 적용 및 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 살피고자 한다. 초등학교 2학년을 위한 “동화와 관련된 극 놀이하기”주제의 수업사례를 상기 동화오페라의 줄거리와 노래곡에서 모색하려는 것이다. 곧 교과서에 제시된 다양한 활동들 및 놀이를 효과적으로 수행할 수 있도록 상기 동화오페라의 노래곡을 발췌하여 접목시키는 구체적인 방법 및 사례에 대해 소개하려는 것이 목표이다. 이 사례연구를 통해서 “동화와 관련된 극 놀이하기”주제를 지도하는 교 사의 경우 한 가지 대안을 확보하고 나름대로 보다 효과적이고 실천적인 수업방법을 개발하되, 두 가지주된 측면, 즉 동화와 오페라의 접목에서 나타난 특성을 숙지하여 학생들의 자율적이고 창의적인 표현 및 활동을 적극 도와줄 수 있기를 바란다.

영문 초록

This paper will take into consideration about a possibility of application and practical use to theme based teaching in the “Pleasant Life”, sc. the integrated subject for first and second grader in the elementary school, with an fairy tale-opera “Hansel and Gretel” written by E. Humperdinck, who was a German composer and educator. In other words, it makes an attempt at an exemplar of teaching for the integrated subject according to the revised national curriculum 2007 in Korea. Above all it s connected with the theme “Dramatic play with music in reference to an fairy tale” in the subject for second grader. Therefore it tries for many-sided operations and play-forms of integrated teaching, for instance, extracting musical pieces from the tale-opera “Hansel and Gretel” as well as grafting these on an integrated teaching together and etc. With this, it desires that any teacher can make a more suited teaching-plan for his children and be well acquainted with the attributes of two principal elements, that is, ‘fairy tale’ and ‘opera’, so that he can help devotedly his children to express their thoughts autonomously and to act creatively, when he must guide them to the theme “Dramatic play with music in reference to an fairy tale”.
