칸딘스키의 바우하우스 시기 회화(1922~1933)에 나타난 조형적 특성을 모티브로 한 네일아트 연구

국문 초록

1980년대 우리나라에 네일 제품 업체 수가 늘어나고 네일 산업이 급성장하면서 1990년 대 한국 네일 협회가 결성된 이후 여러 네일 협회가 생겨났고 민간 자격증 제도 시행 및 교육 기관의 번창으로 수많은 네일 미용 종사자들이 탄생하였다. 그리고 오늘날 네일 미용이 손톱 및 발톱의 케어에서 머물지 않고 조형성 예술성을 띄며 발전하고 있다. 이에 창조적이고 현대적인 디자인 발상을 통하여 경쟁력을 높일 수 있는 네일아트 디자인을 연구하고자 하며 현대 미술의 근원이라 볼 수 있는 추상주의 화가 중 칸딘스키의 바우하우스 시대 작품을 통해 모티브로 한다. 칸딘스키는 회화가 더 이상 자연을 재현하는 것이 아니라 내적세계 및 정신성을 드러내 는 수단이어야 한다고 하였고 색채를 통해 음향을 느낄 수 있으며 가시적 실재를 초월하여 내적이고 정신적인 것을 표현할 수 있다고 하였다. 바우하우스 시대 작품 중 <구성 Ⅷ>의 원과 삼각형의 대조, <원 속의 원>의 다양한 원, <단단하고 부드러움>의 어두운 톤 등의 색상이 주는 무게감과 부드러움을 네일아트로 표 현하였고 <노랑-빨강-파랑>의 색채감, <몇 개의 원>의 형태와 색채가 주는 우주적 느낌을 담아보았다. 네일이란 인체에 부속된 작은 도화지라고 볼 수 있고 그 속에 풍부한 색채와 역동적임, 자유로운 형태 속에서 섬세한 감성을 표현한 칸딘스키의 회화는 네일아트의 무한한 환상 과 디자인의 가능성을 보여주었다. 칸딘스키의 색채이론에서 색채가 갖는 심리적 요인을 바탕으로 네일아트가 시각적으로 만 행해지는 미용분야가 아닌 정신적, 내면적 요인을 다룰 수 있는 테라피로도 변모할 수 있는지 차 후 연구된다면 네일 산업의 고급화 및 대형화를 이룰 것이라 본다.

영문 초록

According to the increase in number of nail product businesses in our country of the 1980s and to a rapid growth in nail industry, Korea Nail Association was organized in the 1990s. After then, many nail associations were created. Owing to the enforcement of private license system and to the prosperity of educational institution, many nail art practitioners were born. Today s nail art is being developed with showing formativeness and artistry without stopping in a care of nail and toenail. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to research into nail art design available for increasing competitive edge through the idea of creative and modern design. It has a motive as Kandinsky s works during the Bauhaus period among abstractionism painters who can be considered to be the root of contemporary art. Kandinsky mentioned that painting needs to be a means of revealing internal world and spirituality, not reviving nature any more, that sound can be felt through color, and that what is internal and spiritual can be expressed beyond visual substance. Among the works in the Bauhaus period, a sense of weight and softness of being given by color were expressed with nail art such as the comparison between circle and triangle in , diverse circles in , and dark tone in . The cosmic feeling was contained that is given by a sense of color in and a form & color in . Nail can be regarded as a small drawing paper attached to a human body. Kandinsky s paintings, which expressed delicate sensitivity amidst rich color, dynamism, and free form inside it, showed the possibility of eternal fantasy and design in nail art. High quality and large scale in nail industry are considered to be likely achieved given being further studied whether nail art can be changed even into therapy available for mental and internal factors, not a beauty art field of being performed just visually, based on a psychological factor of being possessed by color in Kandinsky s color theory.
