국문 초록

물류기업과 관련된 연구를 살펴보면 대부분 연구에서 기업의 특성을 구분하여 수행하지 않았다. 물류산업에서 중소물류기업이 절대 다수를 차지하고 있지만 정보수집, 인터뷰 한계등으로 문제인식 단계에서 머물렀다. 우리나라의 물류경쟁력을 강화시키기 위해서는 절대 다수를 차지하고 있는 중소물류기업 특히 국제물류주선업체의 경쟁력 강화가 필수적이다. 본 연구는 국제물류주선업체에 초점을 맞추어 차별화와 협력이 물류서비스 개선에 미치는 영향을 분석하여, 강소물류기업으로 성장하는 데 필요한 전략적 시사점을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 궁극적으로 대형물류기업과 국제물류주선업체의 협력적인 경쟁을 통하여 우리나라물류산업 발전에 기여하고자 한다. 가설검증 결과 국제물류주선업체의 차별화 동기는 결정에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 차별화 결정은 협력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다만, 차별화 결정은 물류서비스 개선에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았고 협력은 물류서비스 개선에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Purpose : This study aims to provide a strategic suggestion necessary for growing the competitive logistics firms which are Korean freight forwarders by offering the measures for differentiation and cooperation which are suitable for the characteristics of those logistics firms, and by doing so, ultimately to contribute to the development of the Korean logistics industry through collaborative competition between the large-sized logistics companies and freight forwarders. Research design, data, methodology : This study analyzed a research model by making use of a structural equation model as the factors for motivations and determinants for differentiation, cooperation and performance on a basis of literature review and interviews. To verify the hypothesis, a survey was conducted on the 286 Korean freight forwarders and the collected questionnaires were analyzed via the SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0. Results and Conclusions : The results of hypothesis testing are as follows: Firstly, the respondents recognized that motivations for differentiation of freight forwarders significantly influence their determinations. Secondly, the respondents recognized that the determinants for differentiation of freight forwarders significantly influence the cooperation among them. Thirdly, the respondents recognized that the elements for cooperation among freight forwarders have positive effects on the logistics performance and improvement.
