영문 초록

The Vietnamese political system is socialist republic, whereas the Republic of Korea’s political regime is semi-presidential. In comparison with the two regimes, the fact that they differ from one to the other in many aspects. More remarkably, the Korean President plays an important role in external and internal affairs, while the Vietnamese President is a symbolic head of state. The core aim of the paper is to compare and contrast mainly political institutions of the two countries and the Presidency of Korea and Vietnam. Consequently, the paper is divided in two sections. The first section is going to investigate a main overview of the two concurrent political regimes. Subsequently, presidential powers of the two countries will be analysed in section two.
