국문 초록

이 연구는 문학교육에서 이해 개념을 재조명하고, 학습자가 문학작품을 읽어 내는 행위가 바로 자기 이해를 확장하는 과정임을 드러내고자 한다. 또한 전승이 인식 주체의 자기 이해를 기반으로 이루어지는 것임을 밝히고자 한다. 학습자는 전승의 과정을 이해함으로써 전승된 문학작품을 자신의 삶과 관련지어 이해하고, 문학작품을 능동적으로 전승할 줄 아는 주체가 될 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 「처용설화」를 바탕으로 전승을 설명하였다.

영문 초록

This paper aims to sheds new light on the concept of an understanding in literary education, and to reveal that the act of reading literary works by learners is a process of the extension of self-understanding. Also, the paper intends to unearth that the transmission of literary works is based on the self-understanding of a subject. Furthermore, the paper is going to explain the process of the transmission of literary works through an understanding of the subject of the cognition of those literary works. The researcher believes that learners may be a subject who is able to understand literary works that have been passed down in relation to their lives, and to actively pass down literary works by understanding such a process.
