고등학생의 사회적 상호 작용 담화 듣기ㆍ말하기 실태 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 실제 사회적 상호 작용 담화의 듣기ㆍ말하기 실태 및 문제점을 분석하여 바람직한 사회적 상호 작용 담화 교수ㆍ학습을 위한 방안을 마련하는데 기여하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 사회적 상호 작용 담화를 ‘다양한 상황 맥락 속에서 상호교섭과정을 통해 인간관계를 형성 및 개선하는 담화’로 정의하고, 사회적 상호 작용 담화의 특성을 목적, 물리적 맥락 요인, 과정, 화자와 청자의 네 측면에서 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 학생 소집단 대화 분석을 통해 듣기ㆍ말하기에서 사회적 상호 작용 담화의 실태 및 문제점을 분석하였다. 연구결과 학생들은 사회적 상호 작용 담화의 듣기ㆍ말하기 과정에서 대화 참여자로서 대화의 상호교섭성에 대한 인식과 대화의 과정에서 협력적으로 상호 작용해야 한다는 사실에 대한 인식이 부족하였다. 이 연구는 지금까지 연구가 미흡하였던 듣기ㆍ말하기에서 사회적 상호 작용 담화의 실태를 실증적 치원에서 밝혀 듣기ㆍ말하기 교육의 개선 방안을 제시했다는 점에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study is to identify the methods to train high school students to have social interactive conversations properly, for which an analysis was made of the present state of their hearing and speaking. Herein, the social interactive conversation is defined as the conversation to form and improve human relations through mutual negotiations about various situations. In this study, the characteristics of the social interactive conversation were analyzed from four angles, the purpose, physical factors, process, and the speaker and the hearer. This study was conducted on a small group composed of high school students. The results showed that they did not realize the importance of mutual negotiations and interactions in social interactive conversations. There has been no the practical analysis of the present state of social interactive conversations. This study is significant in the sense that it has empirically analyzed the present state of social interactive conversations and has presented the methods to improve hearing and speaking educations.
