영문 초록

This Purpose of research is that presents word structure and meaning of King' name of Go-Gu-Rye on the basis of the former time debate and moreover tries to help to reconstruct the sound system and the word system of Go-Gu-Rye. The characteristic of King' name of Go-Gu-Rye is not chinese character name. That is a proper-noun composed of Korean. The type used until 20th King Jang-su, after this, generalized chinese character name. King' name is written rotation word just as ‘大解朱留王·小解朱留王’ and ‘東川王·中川王·西川王·美川王’, and prefix ‘故-’ just as 故國川王·故國原王·故國壤王. This phenomenon reveals King' name of Baek-je as well as Go-Gu-Rye. Using rotation word and prefix are considered expression of royal consciousness. Main meaning of word that to find on King' name are ‘kⅤmⅤ’ type - describing apotheosized bear, ‘kⅤrⅤ’ type - the mean that 'chief, head'(首·長) and ‘nuri’ type - the mean that peaceful bright world(光明理世). Also, It could find trace of Go-Gu-Rye, for example ‘mirⅤ’(龍), ‘namⅤ’(主·長·大), ‘nai’(壤·川), ‘sɐi’(新·東), ‘kaiun/koun’(美), ‘suri’(首·高·上), ‘soy’(金·剛), ‘ara/aru’(王·首·長), and so on. The word of King' name is basic data of Go-Gu-Rye research for the composed of Korean that meaning of '光明理世' and '首·長'. Specially, It is important that spelling of King' name could be find ancestors' strong consciousness of Korean.
