한국판 초등용 DIT 구안 및 타당화 - 초등학교 고학년을 중심으로 -

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생들의 도덕 판단력 발달 경향을 확인하기 위한 한국판 초등용 도덕판단력 검사(KDIT-P)의 개발 및 그 타당화에 있다. 이를 위해 현재 사용되고 있는 ‘한국판 도덕판단력 검사(KDIT)를 초등학생에게 적용하기 어려운 문제점은 무엇인가?’, ‘본 연구를 통해서 제작된 한국판 초등용 DIT는 신뢰롭고 타당한가?’라는 연구 문제를 탐색하였다. 현재의 한국판 DIT에 대하여 초등학생들은 세 가지 딜레마 이야기는 대부분 잘 이해하고 있으나, 각 딜레마 이야기의 중요 이슈와 관련되는 12개의 질문 내용은 잘 이해하지 못하고 있었다. 따라서, 한국판 초등용 DIT를 새롭게 제작하기 위하여 세 가지의 딜레마 이야기를 초등학생들이 이해할 수 있는 수준으로 구성하고 어휘의 난이도 적정화, 초등학생들의 도덕 판단력 발달 수준에 적합하도록 36개의 문항의 각 단계를 조정하는 것으로 1단계 문항을 포함시키고 M 문항과 A 문항을 제거하는 것이었다. 한국판 초등용 DIT의 전체 신뢰도는 Cronbach α .81로 높게 나타났으며, P(%)점수의 신뢰도가 .61, 1단계 점수는 .68, 2단계 점수는 .21, 3단계 점수는 .54, 4단계 점수는 .52, 5A단계 점수는 .49, 6단계 점수는 .34로 한국판 DIT의 신뢰도와 비교하여 2단계 점수를 제외하고 전반적으로 조금 낮은 경향이었다. 한국판 초등용 DIT는 각 딜레마가 나타내고 있는 중대한 이슈에 대해 판단을 내리는 문제로 도덕판단의 중요한 한 측면을 포함하는 안면타당도를 가지고 있으며, 학년 및 연령에 따른 도덕판단력 발달 경향을 확인한 결과 한국판 초등용 DIT를 통해 학년 및 연령에 따른 도덕판단력의 일반적인 발달 경향을 확인 할 수 있었다. DIT 지수 중에서 원리적 추론에 근거한 P(%) 점수를 통하여 초등학생부터 고등학생까지의 발달 경향을 살펴보면 초등학교 1학년부터 중학교 2학년까지 P(%) 점수가 상승하다가 중학교 3학년에서 떨어지고 다시 고등학교 2학년에서 상승하고 있음을 확인 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to construct and verify the DIT fit for Korea elementary school students in order to investigate the elementary student's developmental trends of moral judgement. The research questions for this research were as follows; 1. What's the point of problem at issue when Korea DIT is applied to elementary school students in Korea? 2. How can it be proposed a new Korean DIT fit for elementary school students? 3. How is the reliability and the validity of the DIT newly constructed for Korea elementary school students? The results of the study were summarized as follows; 1. The elementary school students mostly had a good grasp about the story of each dilemma, but they couldn't understand 12 rating questions to be related an importance issue of the story about each dilemma. In 'The agony of one's husband' story(Heinz), 65.7% among the elementary school students chose 'we do not know well' and 'we do not know entirely' over 5 among 12, in the 'prison-breaker' story 50%, in 'the patient and the doctor' story 57.8%. The reason which the low understanding to 36 questions is due to difficult words included in the questions. 2. The conditions to be met with new Korea DIT fit for the elementary school students were set as follow. First, three dilemma stories should be reorganized to the level of the elementary school student to understand. Second, difficult words included in the story and rating questions must be changed, fit for the understanding level of elementary school students. And third, the new Korea DIT should include 1st stage items which were excluded in the original DIT by Rest. 3. The reliability coefficient of the new DIT for Korea elementary school students showed 0.81(Cronbach α coefficient). The reliability coefficient of the P(%) score was 0.61. 4. Developmental trends of moral judgement showed significant difference in terms of age. Percental(%) score, which was based on principle reasoning rose from elementary school(1st grade) to middle school(2 grade).
