국문 초록

본 연구는 기혼여성의 배우자에 대한 만족도가 가족 내 역할 가치관에 어떠한 경로를 통해 영향을 미치는지를 파악하고, 이 과정에서 스트레스와 우울의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 여성가족패널 제9차 자료(2022년)을 활용하였으며, 구조방정식 모형(SEM)에 기반한 경로분석과 부트스트래핑을 통한 간접효과의 통계적 유의성 검토, 사용자 정의 추정을 활용한 정밀 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 배우자에 대한 만족도는 가족 내 역할 가치관에 유의한 직접효과를 보이지 않았으나, 스트레스와 우울을 매개로 한 간접효과는 유의하여 두 변수가 완전매개의 역할을 하였음이 확인되었다. 아울러 경제활동 및 자녀 유무에 따른 다집단 경로분석 결과, 경제활동 유무에 따라 ‘배우자 만족도 → 스트레스’ 경로, 자녀 유무에 따라 ‘배우자 만족도 → 우울’ 경로에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이는 기혼여성의 인구사회학적 특성이 가족 내 역할 가치관 형성에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 배우자 관계의 질이 기혼여성의 심리적 요인을 매개로 가족 내 역할 가치관에 영향을 미친다는 점을 실증적으로 규명하였으며, 집단 특성을 고려한 정신건강 증진 및 가족 가치관 함양을 위한 정책적․실천적 개입 방안을 제언한다.

영문 초록

This study examined how married women’s satisfaction with their spouse influences their values regarding family roles, focusing on the mediating effects of stress and depression. Using data from the 9th wave of the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families (2022), structural equation modeling (SEM) was conducted. Bootstrapping was used to assess the statistical significance of indirect effects, and user-defined estimands enabled precise analysis of specific mediation paths. The analysis found no statistically significant direct effect of spouse satisfaction on family role values; however, significant indirect effects through stress and depression supported a full mediation effect. Multi-group path analysis revealed significant differences based on employment status and the presence of children: the path from spouse satisfaction to stress varied by employment status, and the path to depression varied by parental status. These findings suggest that sociodemographic characteristics of married women may influence the formation of family role values. The study provides empirical evidence that the quality of spousal relationships indirectly affects family role values through psychological factors, and it underscores the need for targeted mental health interventions and strategies to support the development of equitable family values.
